I just bought one of these used but new for $20. We haven't even gotten into winter yet and the humidity in my home is around 20% before running this humidifier. I'm really curious to see how much this brings up those levels. What type of filtered water do you recommend? I'm not sure what would be best for these. Thanks for your informative video!

Thank you! This is better than the manual instructions. Do you know if the water is supposed to be misting from both tanks at the same time? Sometimes one tank is empty and the other is filled with water. Do you know why that may be happening
its suppose to use 1 tank at a time that way you can refill 1 while the other is still working.
Whenever I tip it to the side/ backwards water comes out is that normal?

just got it today but not warm the water
I bought this and it is more work than it claims. I only ran it for 3 days and the clean light came on so I shut it off till the next morning and cleaned it step by step and now the light. . If I have to use distilled water it would cost me too much to use distilled water a day. I have a wood stove and this is so I do not deal with the air so dry. I have nerve damaged hands in it really took a tool on them trying it for a little longer and will rinse it out once a day to see if that will help.,
You can run it 3 days past when the clean light comes on no problem

Great job. I had it Continously On (CO), but tapped the button again so now I’m not sure where I am in the timing mode. I got the humidity level at 40% but think I need a refresher on the timing mode. When I turned it on, nothing happened. I don’t see anything going on and I can’t find my manual :(
if its set at a certain percentage it will only run when needed so you will see the mist off an on occasionally.

It was 55.00 Two months ago
It was working great for us for 2 months and followed everything - cleaned it with water and vinegar, used distilled water, even put the demineralization cartridges . But after I cleaned it today, it won’t turn on!?. Can’t find any troubleshooting in the internet.😕
Hmmm unplug it and leave it sit for a few minutes then plug it back in also make sure your water tanks are seated in correctly it's easy for those things to go in crooked.
Also make sure you have enough water in the tanks and that you are humidity level is set high enough to make it turn on
my machine no longer steam after use 1 season

It should be fine.. make sure the percent is set high enough to come on or turn it to CO
When it's on CO.... what percentage is set at at default? Is it 35%, 40%, 45%.

Is it normal for one tank to empty. Does it do it on yours? Which one empties 1st on your machine?
Yes that's completely normal...it does that so you can refill one tank and it will stay running because the other tank still has water..

we are using water from filter and the humidifier is still giving us this white dust. Do you know where could be the problem?
That usually means its hard water.
Cleaned humidifier, but clean light will not go off.
After working for less than a year, the + button does not function, so there is almost no air coming out

Yes the tanks will not drain the same..

So it will stay running while you fill the empty tank

Demineralization filters go Straight into the water tanks
How can you clean it?
Use a mix of half water half white vinegar
If you use distilled water or filtered water you wont have to very often

I bought several units...and for about 5 weeks they worked OK...using them about 8-9 hours per day. Then THEY STARTED LEAKING...and destroyed my floors! I did CLEAN IT !
Called the 800# and the CUSTOMER SERVICE is like NON-EXISTING ! Support = ZERO!
Will take them all back to Costco! * *
