My Wife's First Time Watching Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Episode 3 - ruclips.net/video/hKwB2WG-fkg/видео.htmlsi=ERMDHe95DHhXKWbw
The Anakin sequence is showing that Anakin has acquired the power Palpatine had promised to teach him.... to prevent the ones he cared about from dying.
In Clone Wars you really appreciate Anakin more and love him, which makes his fall into the dark side much more tragic. Season 7 especially.
Ahsoka is really starting to feel like the Sequel Trilogy we deserved.
It is
She actually is apart of the skywalker legacy unlike Rey
If I'm being honest a lot star wars fan did not deserve a great Sequel trilogy after the way they treated George and everyone who had anything to do with the prequels. This fan base had it coming thinking Disney could do a better job than the creator himself. But I get what you mean. This was a long time coming
Yeah except Disney won’t let Dave use Luke, Han, or Leia. That’s the biggest thing missing.
Petition to reboot/reshoot the whole mess sequel trilogy we get. Oh wait, it's a non-canon timeline.
Every other Jedi when they teach their student: Lift rocks, eat chips, be nice, meditate, do some flips, and reflect on your life. Choose kindness and love.
Anakin teaching his student: Oh, you have trauma because of your past? I am gonna force you to relive it and accept it, and beat the hell out of you throughout. So you can finally overcome your past or straight up die.
I love that even as Force Ghost, he never stopped being that good old Anakin.
Anakin turned to the dark side.
Thats not what would define her. that's Anakin's final lesson to complete his training: the past is the past and just because terrible things happened doesn't mean they'll happen again and there's no need to it defines her. In itself Yoda's last lesson to Luke .
Beyond that, she was so worried about being everything Anakin was that she wasn't "herself." This is why she was so stoic and weird during the first half of the season
Anakin was not a force ghost in this. He was in the world between world which is like time travel to certain points not into a spiritual word but alternate worlds
I loved how this episode showed more of the fact that Ahsoka was sadly both a Jedi AND a child soldier. What’s more is that while while the Jedi were taught to not form attachments to people, she and her master clearly broke that rule and cared for not just their men but their friends and family. The difference is that while Anakin failed and fell to the Dark Side because he couldn’t let go of those he loved, Ahsoka succeeded and learned to let go and move on.
After seeing Ahsoka having a moment of catharsis with her master, and letting go of her guilt and pain to more fully embrace the Light Side, Rosario Dawson now truly has become the Ahsoka we remember from Clone Wars! She has now truly risen and has now become tied with Luke Skywalker for me as the greatest Jedi of all time.
This is also easily the best performance Hayden has ever given as Anakin, he actually felt more like Anakin from the Clone Wars than the movies. I honestly never thought I would see LIVE ACTION scenes of Clone Wars, or even Hayden in Anakin’s Clone Wars armor!
Right on man.
100% agree, Hayden was absolutely fantastic and this, and really appreciated how he incorporated Matt Lanter's performance from Clone Wars into his. It felt just right
Having Anakin around, able to switch between Jedi & Sith personas, and be in total control of himself, is pretty damn awesome. They could do things with him showing up at key moments that they only DREAMED of doing in the sequel trilogy.
When Ahsoka said that she has "no idea" where they'll end up... idk why, but it gave me huge Doctor Who vibes with that banter. Which is amazing since Huyang is voiced by David Tennant (the 10th Doctor).
honestly I think that might have been intentional. Filoni headhunted Tennant for Huang on the basis of his performance as the 10th doctor in the first place. Plus, it's a fun role reversal as Huang is in the companion role
Dr Who's a cyberman now??? Allons-y...C'est parti!@@SorchaSublime
When Ahsoka snatched Anakin's Vadersaber from his hand (a trick Obi-Wan did one time), as she held the saber close to him, her eyes became Sith eyes. Briefly.
Everyone says that, but i'm pretty sure that's just the reflection of the light in her eyes, it wouldn't make sense if she had them just like that, not even Dooku had them so easily
It's the same trick Anakin used to "disarm" Count Dooku. 😆
@@darthemperk2625 Yes but remember Anakin got his sith eyes under similar circumstances (fighting his master). It's an emotional high that Dooku simply never had to face until he was already versed in the Dark Side and equipped to maintain his nobility
@@SorchaSublime yeah but Anakin already had killed hundreds of people and was all ik the dark side, if Ahsoka showed sith eyes it would mean that she fell to the dark side and she wouldn't have been able to control herself.
Anakin at this point can pretty much control it at will
@@darthemperk2625 true, but she has shown herself to be a greater reflection of her master than previously presumed. It may have been just a trick of the light, but I do like to think it was a little more.
12:18 "Wow - she killed a lot of people as a kid"
Exactly. Live action carries the weight of an important fact that the animation didn't quite do: Ahsoka and other Padawans were child soldiers. The Jedi put kids in command roles in The Clone Wars. Between that and Anakin's fall, of course she had a ton of baggage. Anakin helped her shed it in this episode.
The foggy atmosphere in the flashback sequences was not bc of a lack of money, they could have projected anything onto the volume, huge battlefield landscapes and everything. Filloni said he wanted it foggy to be a literal representation of the "fog of war"
I'm still crying people.
Real emotional damage. The true return of the king. So many emotions. For me, more brilliant than all the SW movies after 1-6. A beauty.
A time machine exists, his name is Dave Filoni. He really took me back A long time ago.. to my childhood 😭🤣❤️
I feel this comment in my CORE AND SOUL!! Our beautiful Ani😭 I hope Dave Filoni makes the clone wars..
A lot of people overlook (myself included, initially) the fact that Anakin recalled his fight against Luke on the second Death Star when Ahsoka said "I won't fight you" and Anakin said "I've heard that before". It's really subtle but that was a reference to Luke saying the same thing. If Anakin and the WBW was all just a hallucination, then how did Anakin know that? I highly doubt Luke told her about that so I highly doubt Ahsoka knew. It was Anakin! I truly think this is Mortis God Anakin and we desperately need another episode in the WBW with him to confirm this!
And Ahsoka is the daughter.
Or entire series of Anakin using wbw to travel to different points of time to study history of Galaxy and taking part of them to keep ballance in the force as chosen one
And Baylan shall become The Son, I suspect.
By the end of this episode, it feels as if a torch has been passed through this nostalgic yet awe-inspiring episode.
Exactly 💯
If you watched the whole end credits they're showing you where they're traveling to and where they ended up. Which was cool. Great reaction you two
My favorite part of the Ahsoka v Anakin duel is a couple of the times they have a clash, Anakin just kind of steps forward and *shoves* and Ahsoka is sent stumbling back.
Really makes you *feel* the sheer power advantage Anakin has over her.
Don't know if anyone here's said it or not, but, I see a parallel between the final scene of *_The Empire Strikes Back_* in which Lando promises to Leia that he and Chewbacca/Chewie would find Han, and here where Ahsoka promises to Hera that she would find Sabine and Ezra 🤔🤯🥺🥲🤗😉👍😌!
Her lightsabers were green throughout the clone wars but she gave them up when she left the order. Right before the siege of mandalore she sees Anakin for the last time and he gifted her those blue ones.
If he arrived with the Vader costume towards the end, it would have been difficult to convey those emotions towards the end. His face speaks a lot ❤️
this episode alone was better than the ENTIRE sequel trilogy.
aint no argument there the sequel trilogy was dog shit
I'm really liking the new Star Wars series. I don't understand why there are content creators on RUclips who say that the series is bad, boring and mediocre. Yesterday I had to block one because he was even giving spoilers. The important thing is to enjoy the series!
I'm really enjoying the reaction video, I really like your videos, I really admire your great work 😊❤️✨
Misogynists basically
@@daurydavis3983 Not all of them, just most of them. Some have been like "Meh, it's not for me.", which is fair. The rest range from misunderstanding to downright malicious.
They're grifting for real. They were caught saying that hopefully these shows are all bad. They aren't real SW who hope this universe gets good again. I'll link you a video exposing them.
ruclips.net/video/yM4E9InkxXI/видео.htmlsi=Ol9ZeLKaASqCqH02
They didn't understand why Ahsoka was so reserved and stoic before this episode and took it as bad acting. I think the truth is that she still had a lot of fear inside her from what happened to Anakin thinking because he taught her everything she would follow the same path he did, its why she's so reluctant to take on a padawan. After meeting Anakin in this episode though all the weight of those fears left her shoulders and she knows she won't end up like Anakin and is her own person. We'll see the true Ahsoka from now on.
@@Corusame Also, Ahsoka was very stoic in Rebels as well, she was very straight faced, didn't smile all that often, so her being stoic in the Ahsoka series up until this point, is just being consistant with the character.
@11:17 that is POSTER worthy man!!!!!! with the Obi Wan (Sir Alec Guinness version in A New Hope) words above: "Only a master of evil DARTHHHH"!!!!
Ahsoka said she wouldn't *leave* him in Rebels. It was *Luke* that said he wouldn't fight him. You're not the only one to make that mistake. I believe the 'teeth' are called baleen, and they're used to strain, not bite... well, that's earth whales, at least. I guess it's to strain the gas they were consuming in Rebels?
She said "Do it" like Palpatine in the prequel trilogy :V
Ahsoka seems to be so much happier in general after she chose to live -- like a very deep wound was finally healed.
Edit: And I see that you two also noticed a positive difference.
My preliminary take: The reason Hera can hear it is probably through her son . As you know, the force is in and flow between all things. Even though it is too weak in Hera for her ti be considered "force sensitive" Her bond with her son is stronger than her other bonds through the force, and he is very strong - allowing her to pick up an echo of what he can sense
In this scene Ani was never gone, he was always in control, he's just able to use both sides of the force now as a ghost, a balance as always intended, Ahsoka couldn't overcome Vader, so Ani gave her Vader and she won, and when she won, you see Anakin switch back from dark to the light side
And i think to make Ahsoka feel better, Anakin let Ahsoka beat his Vader form (dark side form), to help his padawan to understand his final teaching...
@@alanjca9942Agreed, he was going easy on her. He wasn't trying to kill her because that would ruin the lesson. She would never beat vader in a real fight, so he gave her hope and let her beat him to make his point.
He is the father
@@Samuuuel Maybe, maybe not. But i definitely think at the bare minimum that this shows that he really is the chosen one, able to control both the light and the dark at will.
@@TheArrowedKnee yes ! thats what the father is
In the serie Anakin refused that role and i like to believe that he took it, finally
Anakin: You want me to be serious?
Darth Vader: Fine, I shall be serious.
Everyone missed Rex's first appearance. When Ahsoka is contemplating about the death of war, Rex was in the back ground. He is the only one in the 501st that wears Kamas. When Ahsoka was fighting in the Siege of Mandalore, Anakin was killing Count Dooku.
Lastly, Young Ahsoka is played by the same actress that played the Young Gamora.
I advise watching the Clone Wars so you understand more about these scenes. Ashoka's lightsaber has changed a few times
Also to explain jane's question about ahsoka's blue blade from green, Green was her OG saber til she left the order, the blues was a gift from anakin when she came back during season 7/siege of mandalore*
I don't know why, but hearing "Snips" almost brought a tear to my eye....and though I have seen all of Rebels twice through, I have only seen about 10-15 episodes of Clone Wars.
Ahsoka The White gunna bring some Badassery
The actress playing young Ahsoka (Ariana Greenblatt) also played young Gamora in Avengers Infinity War
When Huyang said what he did, all I could hear was "Companions.... I always tell them to stay in the TARDIS. But they never listen. THEY NEVER LISTEN! "
Awesome as always J&J. Filoni worked His magic! 😂
23:50 yep, Dory moment XD
"holy frick on a stick" indeed 🙂
May the force be with you
9:25 There is Rex right there btw.
The Chosen actually released episodes in theaters so it has happened before
So the reason she had a green saber is bcause when she was first being trained b4 she started training with anakin she was more in tune with the force rather than battle like a jedi consoler kinda like yoda and quigon. When she started training with anakin she was in a war so she was trained more in combat like a jedi guardian. The white sabers she made when she killed a inquisitor and took the red crystal and cleansed it making it come out white.
Wedge Antilles has the highest kills, he blew up two Death Stars. Or helped, he's the only being allowed to paint 2 Death Stars on the side of his X-Wing.
The irony of you saying "DO it" when she had the blade to his throat reminds me of when Palpatine told Anakin to "do it" when he sliced Dooku's head off....and then turned into Vader....
can't believe i am the 666th to like this video. damn.
after the pile of crap Disney gave us for the most part, finally a gem. there is still Hope for SW. Ahsoka with Anakin scenes were absolutely perfection. at the end, during their clash... the fear on her expression... The last Jedi Trial is facing your worst fear. him turned to the Dark Side was her worst fear. and her inability to let go, to stop blaming herself for his fate. and Anakin came to finish her training: making her face him, as Vader.
and to end this: Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man, Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow, and Hayden Christensen is Anakin Skywalker.
I love how reactors who watch these episodes the day after magically seem to guess what’s going to happen 😜🤣👍
What an incredibly amazing episode and the best one yet 👏👏👏👏👏👏
This shows one thing, that being Anakin has become the most power force being, being in the upmost balance as Anakin and Vader all at once and even more, THE CHOSEN ONE! He now kept his promise he made to Padme after Shmi died, becoming the most powerful AND keeping the ones he loves from dying! Filoni saved Star Wars!!!
I think the transitions of Anakin going from Ligh to Dark and vice versa Anakin signifies that he was always both sides. Since I’m the series Anakin basically takes over the fathers place so he has the ability to use both sides of the force. We see that when he his eye color changes and then reverts back to normal eyes. Which I took as he now can control both sides and you need both sides to fight and Live.
He is the father
Anakin = The Father
Ahsoka = The Daughter
Baylan = The Son
Filoni gave us live action Clone Wars, Hayden in the armor, and kid Ahsoka. Bless him
when Ahsoka was in front of the big whale, I expected her to say Obi Wans line "Hello there!"
His eyes are what got to me. It's like he's not even the same person.
Ashoka should replace sequels as an alternate timeline 💯 i totally see it happening
He's no force ghost, nor a manifestation of the Force. Not dead, nor alive. He is perfectly aware of himself ("I won't fight you [father]") "I heard that before." He can shape time and space and switch from light to dark at will. The Balance. He has become, long story short, the last Celestial, a God. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up in the material world. He grew beyond the capacity of sentient beings to understand the Force. Anakin is not "fighting" with her, he could have slain her at any moment if he wanted to. Now he has achieved a power no Jedi or Sith could ever even imagine. Being One with the force is a thing, this is incredibly beyond that.
Anakin gave Ahsoka that nickname on their first mission during the Battle of Ryloth. She was sassy and condescending when it came to following Anakin's lead. Ahsoka reciprocated with a nickname for her master by calling him Skyguy.
"the mauldolorians"😂
As Qui-Gon stayed to teach Obi-Wan his final lesson.
As Obi-Wan stayed to teach Vader and Luke their final lessons.
As Luke stayed to teach Ray her final lesson. (Debatable if the mouseverse fits in with the Filoniverse, i prefer Filoniverse)
So has Anakin Redeemed now stayed to teach Ahsoka her final lesson.
All part of the tapestry of the living force.. From a certain point of view.
As much as many of us would love to deny it or hope they undo the sequels, Favreau and Filoni have been quite open that they're filling in the gaps between the original and sequel trilogies. The fact that Filoniverse includes Star Wars Resistance and that the lead character of that show's father appeared in this show reinforce that.
@@LeChaunce Yeah i know. But one can still dream
@@anumeon Those sequels are just awful, aren't they? Abrams sure can direct a set piece and sure can't write a story.
@@LeChauncesequels must be undone I see it as an alternate timeline and heir to the empire movie as real sequels
The Seige of Mandalore was 7th season, which happens at the same time as "Revenge of the Sith". Ahsoka was probably 16-17 at the time.
22:32 that's a good question. Large bureaucratic entities have tendency to operate that way in real life.
24:30 With all the Gandalf references everyone are missing here the master Oogway reference "Who is worthy to become the dragon warrior? I don't know" (c) :D
What a beautiful episode I scream and cry, Dave Filoni 🙌🏽 🥲
Three ships is not a whole fleet.
Sure it is lol
9:47 I wish it was Order 69 !!! 😂😂😂
VERY different end to the Clone Wars
@@hadoken95 The Force told me there should have been a very long line for Master Secura ! Just Saying 🤣🤣🤣
We haven't even seen THRAWN yet!
The blue on the clone trooper didn´t say he is a higher rank, rank is shown with the armor and helmet
The color say what Bataillon they belong to Blue is under Anakin, the 501st later called THE HAND OF VADER
you really should watch CW, it not only makes you appreciate Anakin, the Clones and Ahsoka more.
It has one of the best Scenes in all of Star Wars
14:54 Wow...Jane went to the Dark Side...lol
He was training her, he had complete control of the dark side
Great episode....Absolutely amazing Show.
Order 77, yes, indeed.
That'll never not be funny
They seem completely clueless on a lot of things
im so jealous of people who don't know anything about anakin and vader. that must have been such a whiplash lol
Chopper didn't actually destroy a star destroyer he destroyed an interdictor and 2 light cruisers. The kill cont from that his biggest kill is about 4300 or so. As for the person with the highest kill count i think that honor goes to grand moff tarkin who have the commands to annihilate alderaan
Actually I should correct that statement the hosnian system would have had a larger population than alderaan. And then there is also the genocide of geonosis which wiped out about 100 billion geonosian. So apparently the biggest killer in Star wars is actually tarkin who took about alderaan AND geonosis
It’s Young Gamora
Well you see the parallel between ROTJ AND this Episode. LUKE ( AHSOKA) had a chance to kill ANAKIN ( DARTH VADER) The EMPEROR was testing Luke, Luke threw down his lightsaber and choose to be a jedi and LIVE. Just as AHSOKA did this episode. As Luke did in ROTJ to become the JEDI KNIGHT MASTER.
9:43 You don't want to see what the clones would of done if the Emperor gave order 69 😳
Look up "Luke Skywalker kill count" and see Chopper ain't got shtuff on Luke's mass murdering!
yea great xoxoxox may the force be with you .
Shades of Luke on Yodas planet when he confronted Vader/himself....
"Best Star Wars since Revenge of the Sith" What's with the insult?
Anakin had to become Vader. The Sith had to be destroyed. But first, the Jedi had to be destroyed.
I don’t think the fog was to make it cheaper, more that it’s a vision and not real
Thanks for spoiler in the title and thumbnail. You know your thumbnail shows up on the main RUclips page so even people that haven't come to watch this reaction can see it.
Regardless if they should’ve made it more vague or not its also your fault for not witnessing the episode before you knowingly went on the internet where spoilers are obvious.
So you're saying people shouldn't use the internet before they watch something? Do you realise how crazy that sounds?
Everybody is always in a state of not having the chance to watch something yet, all the time.
And on RUclips 99% of people don't put spoilers in the thumbnail. @@xoN1GHTMAREox
@Shoomer1988 you can go on the internet if you want, it's yoir choice. However, you shouldn't go complaining if you do run across spoilers because you made the conscious decision to risk it just because you wanted to go on the internet.
I waited for 13 hrs to go on the internet so I wouldn't get spoiled because I knew the internet is a treasure trove of spoilers
They are at fault for making spoilers, but your even more at fault because you came online knowing full well what to expect from a highly anticipated release.
What rubbish@@xoN1GHTMAREox
So you didn't watch last week? We all knew Anakin was back
AHSOKA WENT THROUGHT THE SAME THING WHEN LUKE WENT TO THE CAVE AND FOUGHT DARK VADER IN EMPIRE STRIKE BACK
"Do it" 😂😂😂
I feel we gotta let Disney know that we want Dave Filoni to take over star wars. #FiloniForever!
he’s the father… for sureeee
Order 77? 75? 69? 68? 😂😂😂 LOVE IT!
Ah yes good old order 69😂
I don't think the ahsoka the whit theory is weird I feel it's grand Master ahsoka makes more sense
White*
Space octopus???? LMFAO, space whales people.......
Anakin in his Season 1 outfit.
14:00 Btw, did you know that according to “Bespin Bulletin” there was a fight scene shot between Anakin (as Hayden Christensen) and Ahsoka (as Savannah Steyn instead of Ariana Greenblatt, at least for that scene) on Mustafar in an alternate-reality-like setting during the "world-between-world like" moments, which they said was cut from the actual episode? In that scene Anakin would have showed her that she couldn't have changed his fate to become Vader even if she were there at that point, which would have taken away a lot of her guilt of her not having been there and not being able to save him, resulting in the now more light-hearted Ahsoka. They cut that scene, maybe cause it wasn't really a memory and/or cause Anakin's message/lesson was a different one? Though I still hope they would release it as a separate video on YT or sth like that, cause I would really like to see what that scene (and Savannah Steyn as Ahsoka) would have looked like and it also explains a bit better imo why Ahsoka is more enlightened and happy at the end.
It might be a thing for episode 7 or something
Annoying buzzing in the video.
"do it" :D woman, you are the Sith inside :D
I know absolutely nothing about Gilmour Girls except in name....lol.
GM Tarkin has the most kills. Alderran
So in this timeline young Gamora was found by Anakin and he paints her up and gives her her new Sith name, Ahsoka. It's canon now, Star Wars is in the MCU.
Okay.
Don't be sad about Anakin, he came back from Vader, and this spirit is him after he came back, so he exists in the Lightside of the Force after his death. He happy.
Just a heads up for your thumbnail, it's spelled Shadow "Warrior".....not Worrier haha
Patreon video when?🤔
Don't be sad he became Vader. He ultimately returned as Anakin in Episode 6, and is here now to give Ahsoka her final lesson.
