It's not a bad game in itself, but its release state was disgraceful, and it certainly didn't live up to the hype, though to be fair, the hype was WAY too much.

Days Gone fans: Impossible.
Days gone made me a Sony fanboy after being with Xbox since 2002 anyways I didn’t have bugs but I know people who did..a lot were funny bugs mostly that I seen lol 😂
That's the shitty part... Days gone got absolutely shit on by reviewers cause it had performance issues...

Days gone is actully at a good state right now, bought yesterday and I like it.
@@8butsideways295 Bugs where the least of Days Gone's issues. It's a cool game but hella flawed and messy and poorly designed. You can tell it was the studio's first game like this but the concept is really great and I have all the faith in the sequel.

If it didn't have as many frame drops i actually enjoyed myself...
The point is days gone gets 6-8
And cdpr gets 9-10... Sure 2077 is a better game but still...
Jim stearling made a video on cyberpunk the headline was it should've been delayed 3 years now i didn't like it at first out of respect for cdpr but then he tells you some facts and you start to look at the picture differently you see a few more flaws...
Everyone who is saying day 1 patch will fix everything has no care for games... Does not remember how games work and how in the past day 1 patches have been promised again and again... I guess they all want to play the new hot thing
The lack of review codes for consoles... The lack of footage for the gameplay on base consoles... The restrictions that you can't show your own footage...

I hate it when things get too over hyped, so I say that they will fail to keep myself away from the hype train, even though I don't mean it. I acted that way against Red Dead 2. Still loved the game though, and I think keeping my expectations low made me enjoy it more than people who over hyped it.

That would of been perfect and funny
fallout 76 got poor reviews for it's bugs. skyrim has good reviews for it's bugs. makes sense in that context since a number of people are using that stance with new game. but i'll say most reviewers don't deduct much from bugs in their reviews. they only deduct if the bugs take them out of their enjoyment of the game. so despite skyrim being pretty buggy, it was still fun for them. new game's bugs actually impeded the fun they were having, thus the death threats began.
I expected something Bethesda so I wasn't disappointed. Would've also accepted New Vegas.

@@Treilerk Duke Nukem Forever's long development were largely from four (?) Engine switches and trying to follow every trend of every FPS that was coming out (which led to essentially scrapping everything and starting over).
I seriously doubt Cyberpunk 2077's team would've scrapped an entire engine that late in the game, so six months is a pretty good estimate for ironing out kinks.
