So great to have met you IRL! Really enjoyed hanging out at your campfire, and your yoga lessons were great. I wish you safe travels for the rest of your journey, and I hope to see you in Palm Springs this winter.
I’ve been a member of The Woods Campground since 2016 and love it! This year I got the seasonal day pass, I stayed with a couple who are seasonal perms twice this season, and also will for the extremely popular Illumination Weekend next month. I wasn’t there last weekend when you both were, glad you also are very happy with the campground!
I didn't know they had seasonal day passes, that is very cool! Yes, our fourth visit and we still like it alot! There's just so much to do, and always a friendly place!
It's crazy how much they are growing... there doesn't seem to be any shortage of demand. Some of the recent additions, like the outdoor gym, are pretty cool!
He always offers to teach Yoga classes at all the campground we go to....he's a certified teacher, and has a free Yoga Channel on RUclips...James Meyer Yoga Palm Springs
i like bushcraft often doing basketry, making mats and little ropes, and making tiny leantos from debris wood. and have started learning some pottery. however i do well with baskets and would love to teach basketry to my community. i wonder if this place needs a camp managment person who enjoys hiking and cleaning the natural areas of modern debris. i justt got here to pa, am disabled, am camping homeless behind a motel, and am living a little isolated, large towns scare me so i use my bushcraft ability to try to get by. money every month because am disabled. some call me an idiot for continuing my adventures while doing nothing much about my health.
Sounds like an interesting craft you have! Not sure about teaching at the campground, but reach out to them and find out - I'm sure there are people interested!
There are a lot of LGBTQ+ campgrounds across the US, The Woods is probably the biggest! We have a map of all the ones we have visited on our website, GayRVing.com. Chompers always steals the show (she is the star, after all!)
Did I just hear right? Coming off of leather week and starting bear week and all letters of the rainbow alphabet were represented at this camp? Yikes! I guess this place isn’t for us. The alphabet have co-opted all men’s spaces and it’d be nice to see more men-only spaces declared as such by those not worried about potential repercussions from the alphabet outrage mob. Not interested in mingling with em or “allies”. If you guys could mention which campgrounds are men only, that’d be great. I’ve only heard you say it once or twice. Thx.
Hi Paul - thanks for the comment. We've been to about 25 LGBTQ campgrounds so far. There are ones that are men-only, and others that are LGBTQ+ and others are LGBTQ+ ALLIES friendly. The commonality that each of these unique campgrounds have is that each offers a safe space for their guest to be who they are. So far, we haven't found two campgrounds that are alike...each are unique in their clientele, vibe, location, etc.. Thanks for watching!

It was so great to meet you guys! Realized I never got a picture of us with you both. Hope you guys have safe travels as well and see you in PSP!
Chompers Cam!!!! You guys do the most amazing job in creating this content! Thanks for sharing! 😘
Chompers is always the star of the show! (of course, she was patient as I strapped the GoPro camera to her body!)

Have fun!!!!
I was there in 2015, My goodness they have grown. If they keep going they will have to connect direct to those power lines overhead!

I would sign up for a James yoga class
