I'm so glad I found this channel! You have no idea how much you have helped me. I'm 65 and retired. I've lost a 24 yr old son and my oldest at 31. I've actually gotten the feeling from therapists they aren't interested in my story. I was told they don't talk about the past. Maybe not but I still thought I needed to and gave up. Since I found you, I'm sleeping so much better with over the counter sleep aides. I'm beginning to taper off of those drugs. I fall asleep fast! As for me, you are a miracle. I've been going through this for 20 yrs! You are a blessing! Thank you so much!
This made me sad. True. Modern therapist don't like your past, you can find ones online who still go into your childhood or older traumas and work with you on solving them, I'm glad this worked though!
I'd look for a new therapist. Of course the loss of your children is going to affect your present. I'm so sorry for your loss. There are many therapists who will help you work through past trauma. It's them, not you. Good move getting away from OTC sleep meds; they're harder on you than prescription sleep meds
I'm so sorry youve had such huge losses. Talking about this would be helpful I think as I have to my therapist,she allows me to talk about whatever I want,I have a Psychologist who does grief work. You could also try
Psychoanalysis/Psychodynamic Theory which works on the past. It's worth trying to find the right one for you,good luck. But also really good you found Sarah,she is a blessing isn't she x

Sara I know you believe in these meditations and so do I. I quit listening to other meditations that don't require our bodies to use our breathing and our concouisness to help us relax. I have decided yours is by far the best I have seen to slow our bodies down and to use techniques instead of pills to get a good nights sleep. I have a sleep disorder verified by a top notch clinic. However, they haven't done anything more for me than introduce me to more narcotics. Off of them I went and your meditations have resolved most of my sleep issues. But I couldn't do it without your expertise. Thank u for all u do.

I have been so stressed lately at work. I do help desk for a tax software program and we started tax season in December and its only getting worse being screamed at, hung up on, etc while trying to figure out what's wrong in the software or why they aren't getting the numbers they want on every tax form imaginable. These videos are really helpful for me when im afraid to to to sleep because I i don't want to wake up stressed or in crisis. Thank you 🥰

I use this meditation most nights to help me sleep usually I'm up worring and over thinking all hours of the night but for the past week this meditation has had me asleep in minuets
So far I've been asleep withing 10-20 mins of listening. I have listened to hundreds of different ones over the past year, however your videos are the best so far. My mind races at night when all is quiet and uncomfortable thoughts always arise causing anxiety, that keeps me awake. Listening and concentrating on listening to this has helped so much. Thank you. I am about to put it on again. I am currently laying in bed, once again anxious about struggling to get to sleep so hopefully this will work again.

A fierce wall of insomnia doesn’t respond to gentle entreaties. I hope this will be hypnotic and powerful - enough to knock down a walk of steely insomnia. Fear. Of what? I never really know. But I know that this site has helped me before. I must believe it can do that again. Her voice is so relaxing.

I’m having a hard time clearing thoughts from my mind.
I looove your sleep meditations. But almost everytime when it is finished I wake up suddenly. Any reason why? Does anyone else experience that?
I certainly do, i believe its our brains realizing that there is no more sound suddenly. It helps me to add sleep meditations to a playlist so that the sound continues through the night (or whenever you may be sleeping). I find it better to have longer meditiaions in a row rather than shorter ones (like only half an hour) because sometimes ill wake up right in between when one ends and another starts, yet it the endless playlist helps me to fall back into sleep.
