- Has it ever been hard for you to prioritize the gospel on a daily basis? Some days are more difficult than others but how do we get past that? In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, otherwise known as the Mormon Church, members are encouraged to progress everyday by being consistent in their studies of the scriptures and in practicing their religion. But sometimes living "in the world" (where not everything is centered around Jesus Christ and his gospel) can feel almost impossible. So how do we prioritize the gospel every single day?
In this episode, Justin, Kwaku, and Sabrina talk about how they prioritize the gospel in their lives.

A verse a day keeps the Devil away 😉
Something I love doing is FaceTime scripture study dates with my fiancé. We FaceTime each other every night after we’re done with our day and 4 days a week we use that FaceTime to discuss what we read in the scriptures and study more about it. I feel like it’s really good for us because we’re always learning new things from the scriptures and we bond even more.
My wife and I used to do this while dating/engaged. It has been 10 years now, and we haven't done scripture study together in years.... I miss it...

I was born a member but fell away for a few years and I’ve been receiving feelings that I need to come back... and I suppose I need to be treating myself as an investigator

Im a convert and im stil have so much to learn and working on finding ways to better learn and memorize and pondering and puting what i learn to to every day like teaching our kids and teaching others and bring them to Christ i still have a long way to go and never ending learning of the word i will say it can be a challenge somtimes making a plan mapping it out then following through but i never give up and try my best to use what i learn in my everyday i want to be somone who can speak truth and can bring scriptures that will help myself and others someone who has studied but it dose take me more work because im alot like Joseph Smith i lack a good education so it dose take me long to learn my husband is a slow reader but eveyone can pray and pounder a scripture so always working towards that gold to be

I have been convinced to subscribe to the channel! You guys truly make everything go down so much better. Kwaku, your sense of humor is truly a gift and I am glad that you use it here. Justin, you are amazing in the fact that you recognize something in your viewers that maybe needs a bit more explanation than we get from thinking about the issue. You find a way thru telling us about how it applies to you and then you invite us to try it as well. I’ve always thought Saints Unscripted puts a unique twist in discussion about doctrine and lets us see how it relates to us and not just the funny stuff that you bring to the show. I say good going and hope that you continue to enliven us with your great senses of humor because it truly makes the show what it is.
This is why I’m kinda scared of LDS 😂 you guys are so committed to the church. It’s not just a Sunday thing, you do so much more than going to church on Sunday. I applaud you for being able to do it! But I don’t think I could.
None of us do it perfectly😂 it takes everyday effort for me.

Yeah it’s scary the commitment is eternal but I promise you if you join and have faith and follow the prophets it’s just gonna get easier and your faith and testimony will grow stronger and your gonna want to do it for yourself. No one is perfect, try your best and follow the prophets 💞
God doesn't give commandments that we can't keep without His help. With God, nothing is impossible. :)

I thought i watched all your videos already but suddenly I found this I haven't seen before, made my day :)
I really enjoyed this episode. I teach the youth and always enjoy showing them your videos. I plan to show this video to them this Sunday and hopefully get them to prioritize their scripture readings more effectively. I really think starting out small and building up is a wonderful idea.

I just discovered your video!!!I really enjoyed it..I have been struggling so badly with balancing my scripture study..I am currently following along with book of mormon come follow me, but I've never read or studied the bible all the way through either..I struggle with understanding it.so, I thought about just focus on one set of scripture at a time. If I try to focus on just the bible then I feel bad cause I'm not reading the book of mormon. Idk....I'm praying about it.i wished heavenly father would just come down and tell me what to do..anyway, thank you for your video.look forward to seeing more.

Hummm... yes LDS Tools is free, but it does not have the scriptures in it. 🤣 That would be the Gospel Library, it too is free and has the scriptures, plus a lot more! 😇

The gospel is not the bread of life. Jesus is. It’s not both.
GET THAT FISH IN A PROPER TANK! THAT BOWL IS TO WAY TO SMALL FOR IT! THIS IS BEING CRUEL TO THAT FISH!
The gentlemen in this video says that their faith is not build "Bible up", and indeed the Mormon faith's foundations are not based upon the Bible but rather the personal revelations that one man (Joseph Smith) claimed to have received directly from God.
The gentlemen also said that" truth abides for ever and ever", this is very contrary to Joseph Smith's teaching that the Bible had been corrupted and that 'many plain and precious truths' have been lost/removed from it's pages.
This alleged loss of Biblical truth actually led to the establishment of the LDS church to, 'restore the true gospel' to the earth.
The LDS church's basic distrust of the Bible is reflected in it's 8th Article of faith, which is that they believe it has not been translated correctly, on the other hand they are taught that Joseph Smith's Book of Mormon is 'the most correct book on earth'
In this video, the book of Mormon was mentioned several times and his other book, doctrines and covenants, but the Bible itself was not mentioned once, sadly this is all too common in the world of Mormonism.
The gentleman also mentioned the word 'exaltation'.
Again, this concept of exaltation to personal Godhood, was taught by Joseph Smith, ( but is not in taught the Bible.)
The basic reason that the LDS church builds so many temples worldwide is to provide a secret/sacred place where ( only 'worthy' Mormons) can work for the salvation of dead people, and through complete obedience to Joseph Smith's complex and exacting system of 'temple works' finally obtain the status of a God.
These things, and so very much more are believed and practiced by the LDS faithful worldwide, not because Christ or his Apostles taught it in the Holy Bible but because one man, Joseph Smith taught it.
It is in the building of Temples and temple works themselves that we see perhaps most clearly the great and irreconcilable differences that exists between Mormonism and Biblical Christianity.
Please read the Bible and trust it, trust the real Jesus of the Bible and it's true and everlasting gospel, (the one Joseph Smith rejected and replaced with another.)
