FIX: Can't Uninstall Because The Riot Client is Still Running

You just need to go into the launcher and turn off minimize to tray because even if it doesn't show in your tray its still there. You don't need to download another program to delete it.

This is how I resolved from Reddit
- Finally was able to uninstall through the normal windows program manager.
In Riot Client settings there is an option to make the app exit fully when closed, rather than minimize to system tray. After changing it and closing the client again, I was finally able to uninstall League, and thus the client itself.

Make sure you do both things mentioned in this video, ending it in the startup bar/arrow thing and task manager. I had the same issue

Y'all, just click Ctrl+shift+esc, find "riot client" and click it, then click the button "end task" on the top right corner
then go to control panel > installed apps > uninstall Valorant

The problem for me is that I've uninstalled all Riot games but when I want to uninstall the Client it says that it can't because I need to uninstall all Riot games first. But there are none. Actually open the load screen for the game youre playing (LoL, in my case) and see what options you have selected. I deselected having the Riot Client load at startup and deselected something about Riot running in the background. Once I turned these options off the "Can't Uninstall Because The Riot Client is Still Running" was fixed and I was finally able to uninstall.
