I’ve done all this but if I look in storage it still says I have a riot client that takes up 33 GB, pressing uninstall tells me it can’t be found to uninstall and to check the location again. Anyone else have this issue?
Try reinstalling and then following steps again to fully uninstall

Just exit the app at the bottom right corner before you try to delete, or it will appear in “use”. 1:50 minutes at the video he shows how to do it :)

I did all the steps but it seems to still be taking up 30 gb of storage if I go to installed apps from windows 11 settings, even though every possible file is gone and deleted

What about the registry entries? Deleting folders doesn't seem very clean to me.
revo uninstaller
you can remove all files through the revo uninstaller if you press advanced, just be careful not to delete your whole pc files

yo so i followed all the steps and deleted all the files BUT riot client is still in my apps and when i go to uninstall it, it says "windows cannot find riotgames/riotclient ect " "make sure you typed the name correctly then try again, i even tried reinstalling the whole thing again then uninstalling but it didnt do anything
I would recommend reinstalling riot client fully and them following steps which should enable you to full uninstall the riot client

By far the best tutorial, I’ve seen to delete Riot client. Fuck that company.
Thank you it was taking up around 40 gigs and every time I tried to uninstall it it just kept saying the client was still running somewhere. They really don't like people uninstalling their games, they make it annoyingly difficult for no reason.

It tells me non of those folders can be deleted because they're opened in some process....
Did you try closing riot down in task manager

thank you for this, the client was so invasive - if its still running on bottom left background tray, you can only close this by clicking exit with the app open (for me i wasnt signed in, so pressing exit with app closed just reopened it)

followed all the step. it just deleted all the files. but did it really uninstall riot client?? NO. it still is installed. still showing up.
I would recommend reinstallinga nd then following the steps again and this should fully uninstall the Riot Client! :)

I did all of this, but Riot Client is still appearing on the installed apps on my pc, not on the search bar tho, but cant uninstall the 30 gb it uses :(

You can fix it by reinstalling Valorant and the included Riot Games launcher. For me, the issue was with the cache, but I couldn't resolve it using the method from the videos. Reinstalling and deleting it afterwards was the only solution.

@@vedn222click on the bottom right arrow mark and you'll find the riot client app. Right click on it to quit the app and it will stop running.
Riot games won't let me exit the game so i can delete it what do i do
