The Garfield and Friends TV show was fantastic, and had a lot of great moments. Lorenzo Music, Garfield's voice actor, is a legend of course. I'm not sure if people nowadays know that 80s/90s Garf had a bit more edge, so I thought I'd compile a couple clips.

I wish more children's cartoons had a character that wanted people drug out into the street and shot.

@@Pm-606-42O Is that the real Peppinq pasketti?
Awesome lol
yes.
Yeah
This isn't Lumpy gaslighting us, for anyone wondering. Garfield actually says this several times throughout the show
I am genuinely surprised that you're right
What show is this?
@@BoxedGoat Garfield and Friends.
holy shit you're right
😂
Fun Fact: This is the first time Lumpy’s included the original Garfield & Friends show in one of his videos. If I waited any longer, I would’ve wanted Lumpy drugged out into the street and shot.
wasn't...the garfield seinfeld theme thing one of the first instances due to the well, garf n friends theme
drug, my good man, drug
This should've been a taunt for Garfield in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
"People who fight like you should be drug out into the street and shot." as a taunt would instantly make him into a meta-relevant character even if his entire moveset was just standing there harmlessly saying variations on this taunt.
"Anybody who plays Oblina and spams her projectiles and uair should be dragged out into the street and shot."
@@kaygratv imagine players teabagging while having garfield say this phrase
That would've been revolutionary
Lol
Dang, Garfield ain't playing around.

You’re right man go pro don’t mess around
No wonder there was a garford
Bro old cartoons were savage, why can’t they be more like this now
Karen's are why cartoons can't be made like this now.
Ed, Edd N Eddy is heavily mean-spirited compared to more recent cartoons from the past 15 years like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Amphibia, and The Owl House which all have mostly characters caring for each other instead of being jerks to each other.
We got Teen Titans Go. Its a little savage somtimes.
Because back then people were insensitive and uncaring.
@@Blur4strikegood people are the reason why.
Probably Lumpy's most normal Garfield video
He used to meme donkey Kong fighting mario from the movie TWICE.
What does DK have to do with Garfield though?

Garfield digging the inventor of the Christmas tree out of his centuries old grave to line him up for the firing squad isn’t an image I ever thought would enter my head, but here we are
Lorenzo Music IS Garfield, and none sadly could replace him.
Exactly. Lorenzo Music was the best actor who did Garfield and will always remain.
Frank Welker is pretty hilarious too!
Wow! This really brought back memories of watching Garfield as a child. Anyone else remember the toy where if you kept pushing the button on his paw he’d say this iconic catchphrase to you?

"You should be dragged out into the street and shot"

Mine sadly had a defect in his voicebox. He only said "I hate mondays" 😟
I would love if this was a series where each version has even more disturbing catchphrases
🔥
No this is real
This is actually real, all three are lines he actually said in the show! But you could probably find him saying other disturbing things as well, Garfield was a savage
The most wholesome part is that this is actually real 💀
Garfield stays on that savage shit
This iconic catchphrase would never be allowed in today’s television. Garfield was a true classic.
Preferably on Monday. The most sordid day of all.
Didn't know Garfield was a gangster out here 😂
love how this is actually real and not a voiceover

Fitting how you reference this by having Sansfield use a gun as one of his attacks in your fan game
"On days like these, kids like you, should be drug out into the street and shot."
He also talks about hangings.
The fact that garfield is generally having no chill in the entire series is just hilarious to watch at.
Reminds me of the childhood years when I used to be in detention for using the catchphrase in the school. Good times!
I didn’t think I’d find someone who loves Garfield as much as me
I still cant get over the fact this is real.
Garfield thought the cameras were off 💀😭
I forgot how often he said that line. I guess it really is his iconic catchphrase

garfield being a real one
Finally Garfield got tired of being Gorefield and destroying the world
I feel like Lumpy is slowly going insane or has already gone insane after making such peculiar philosophical videos

Yup, Garfield really doesn’t pause to say death threats. In a kids show too!
the metal pipe is the best part of this
The last part they took it to literally
As someone who watched this show as a kid and loved it, I can confirm these are the actual clips, at least the one with the clown.
With Binky?
garfield is a m a z i n g
The real question here is how in the world did they get this onto children’s programming once, let alone multiple times?
Different time period, before "Karen's" multiplied.
Something deep within my cranial spaces and lumps is screaming and begging for me to tell myself that something seems too disastrously out of place to possibly be held as true.
no he absolutely says that, not like, commonly, but he does say it, these are real
(Edited) they’re all real! I checked out the original episodes. I thought the one with the kid was edited but he actually does say it, he’s just got a brutal sense of humor sometimes lmao
I heard this phrase on Looney Toons so often thanks to 90s Cartoon Network reruns that this never phased me. It's only now reading people's surprised reactions that I realize the intense wording.
im literally crying and urinating in my jorts, garfield would never say that

Just wanna say that the show is “Garfield and Friends” and all three of these clips are real. This particular version of Garfield was just savage as hell. It’s actually a really funny show and I recommend it
The 80's were a wild time...
I wouldn't be surprised if Garfield DOES what he says.
does*
Well, garfield does it everytime he is in his gorefield form
Why is Garfield so violent like why does he want to just shoot everyone
He also said a similar line about the inventor of alarm clocks in the cg show
I loved growing up with that catchphrase! Classic and unforgettable. I know it's become a part of my regular vernacular. ❤☺️
I was watching Garfield with my mom when he said this line and my heart started racing because if my mom hears that line she would probably not let me watch Garfield ever again 😭 good thing she wasn’t paying attention when he said this lmao
dawg i was dying after he was just no filter "anyone who sings like that should be drug out into the street and shot"

Everytime he said this it was the funniest thing ever

I'm so glad you brought this into light, it was one of my favorite catchphrases he would say.
I didn’t know he ACTUALLY said that

as a Garfield and Friends fan, i can confirm he does indeed say that
His other one is “Nice Touch!” while looking back at the camera.

Garfield is so relatable
the moment I saw this all the episodes flooded my brain and I remembered he DID say this phrase
Garfield said jacka$$ in one episode AND ITS A KIDS SHOW ☠️
At first I thought it was “At least it can’t get worse”
After watching this Garfield cartoon, i do not remember garfield saying this
When Garfield pull out his claws I thought he was gonna attack the little girl 😂
Garfield has no chill.
I honestly thought his catchphrase would be "I hate Mondays" but guess not, I never watched every thing about Garfield so I didn't know this.
Garfield woke up in the morning with murder on his mind 💀

Didn't remember garfield that violent before💀
Iconic Of Garfield.
I remember this, and I genuinely love it.
In 2009 series, The Garfield Show, one episode had him saying "Whoever invented the alarm clock should be dragged into the street and beaten", which is a much tamer version of this line.
Garfield being threatening is my fav thing
garfield is a mood
am I the only one that noticed the metal pipe falling sound effect when the ornament fell?
No way its metal pipe sound 💀
Yeah Garfield said that a concerning amount of times didn’t he
In the garfield show its now "dragged out into a street and beaten"
"or worse. made to listen to their own singing"
Finally someone mentions his catchphrase.
Garfield like:
Its pretty hilarious how they thought murder was a good joke
How I feel listening to retail shopping music.
Here’s the thing:
I can’t trust if this was the actual quote due to the fact that this is a Gorefield artist
wouldn't have expected this from lumpy touch
