I own the 2019 certate .I have 3k and 5k models and I used to have the 2018 4000 exist. I think the certate is the better buy for the money and actually felt smoother than the 2018 exist. I sold my exist. As for the 2022 model exist I have yet to try it out but I will soon. Hope this helps.
I’m on a point too decide. Recently i went to a store. I had my rod with me to fit a exist i was focused on. Unfortunately a 3000 was even to light weighted. The 4000 was sold out. So i went back to house with no reel😞
Yeah it’s really thin,with fishing in the rough shallow country the wear and tear factor saw a few bust offs,fish swimming with a jig head and line is no good
