Team Hiway Stabilizers 😐
Genius idea mate! Have you noticed any corrosion from it always being salty?
Mine actually does this. WTH is wrong with the thing 😊
hi, it looks like a 4000…
Great info and video. Just subscribed to your channel for future vids. Keep up the great work and tight lines man
Wayne! To be honest, Minn Kota should sponsor you for the number of motors you saved with those tips. No one ever told me about greasing those round connection points with dielectric grease! I went through 1 engine already within the first year and had to manually stow it on a rough day. I got the new replacement motor, and after 8 hours out in the salt, I was shocked to find out the amount of green corrosion that built up already within 8 hours!!! I cleaned the connections really well, kept applying dielectric grease before going out every time, and didn't have any problems since! Thanks again!!
DONT DO THAT!!!!!!!!
Mate your a legend. Answered a question about the pitch. My motor trim wasn't really effective. As it turns out the zipwake was setup to work up to 30 knots. Setting mine up now to adjust up to 15 knots. Thanks
fucking oath
What’s the stuff you use to clean your reels
Sea -it salt wash
Hi mate thinking of buying one. How they're going in following sea in 1m swell? And can you run roll in auto and pich off? Thanks from the video
Yeah you can, I’ll switch to manual at times and set the tabs where they work best
Sure, extra room but only on one side! The centre console lets you get right around the boat! Nice boat though!
I’ve had a CC it was good, just tight walking back hooked to a good fish
Too bad it isn’t a four cylinder like the Yamaha. They sounds raspy with the 3 cylinder
Hey mate, awesome walk around. Is this a fully standard f15 like no extras? Just looking at getting one but want exactly the same as yours.
Yeah mate standard features only
I’m about to buy a boat that has the Honda 135s. How do you like yours and can you please give me any tips? 200 hours
Love the 135 it’s got smooth power compared to a 115
Hey Pannie, nice video's! Got a question for you... I want to do a similar Garmin bow mount as yours. Can you tell me if you fabricated it or where you purchased the mount? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
Hey mate, I had it made
hola, gusto en saludar. Me podrían ayudar a entender si conviene más un certate o un exist? Hablo español y no puedo entender nada en el video, si lo escriben puedo poner el traductor. Se los agradecería mucho.
Certate is a very strong reel and proving to be good, exist is a high end reel and I feel wont last like the certate
Hola! La bobina del 3000 es compatible con el 2500? . Gracias ! Video muy ilustrativo
Yes it is
level it in the water not on a trailer
Yes it’s been done in the water from new
Just curious, what would be the advantage of this feature? Like what was it intended to solve?
I use it when hooked up to a fish in the shallows , point out a bit deeper and drag fish out
@@pannieslayer7699 Nice! I can see how that would be helpful.
Do not grease that worm gear worst thing you can do
The frewza are the best made boats ive ever seen they are beater than stabicraft and cheaper
We have the 150hp. Guess its the same for that?
Yeah mate
Sweet thats what I need. Will give it a crack over the weekend
How do you find them in the slop mate? I've got them on my new boat and they tend to be bloody dangerous in a quartering sea. Even the dealer said to turn them off when it gets a bit shitty.....Do you have the same issue?
I just leave them on all the time, good in all conditions, you can slow them down on reaction time
I've never seen this..why do you need to release the air?
Something to do with the air bladder to allow the fish to swim back down
It is like, if you went scuba diving down to 50 feet.. Then, you hold you breath and rise to the surface... Your lungs will explode!!
Been enjoying my certate 5000 size. Still fesls like new after 4 months, i fish a lot so probably got 500 hours of fishing this reel. My stradics feel like junk after a few trips with 60 gram lures, but the certate is a powerhouse in comparison. The drag feels way more stable as well compared to my stradics, hate it when the drag loses all it`s friction and keeps pulling out line at a lower weight than i set it to.
Got a Certate SW 6000 and 10000, no issues from saltwater use, smooth as. Both are noisy however. Heaps noisier than my Twinpower SW and Stradic SW. Doesn't effect performance though.
just got that in my life and have not used it yet going out this weekend
A frying pan, olive oil , lots of lemon and butter and pepper will fix him fine.
Salt, seasoning??
😂
How wide are those gunnels, 200mm?
yeah mate 200
A little bit of silicone spray on the inside of the belt would help.
Mate how do you wire it up to key start when the cable suppled goes directly to battery from the interceptor unit
there is a yellow cable from memory that linked into the Honda loom behind the key start
With the motor all the way up by the head of trolling motor, how did you get it back down?
When you pull the silver lever it can move up and done easily
I need this in my life.
Complete game changer
I just got one brand new for a very good price. I’m going try out this week . Let’s see i got the 4000lt model very light and smooth. Exist was to much for my budget…
should you not be submerging it to release barotrauma? Was always taught releasing the air above water can harm them
To be honest I don’t do this anymore, once they get down 10 mtrs they start to self deflate
Hey Pannie! would love to hear how its holding up after almost a year
Does it smell like toenail fungus at all? Asking for a friend.
Hello Sir , May i know after almost 1 year of this motor review ? have any problem when you using on the saltwater ?
You have guts spraying your alternator with direct hose pressure. Honda just voided your warranty and everyone witnessed it!
What braided line do you use? What's your favorite? Is your exist the 22? I bought a certate LT 4000-CHX because of one of your other videos. God bless from Kentucky
I decided to get a exist PC LT 3000-XH from digitaka I have no idea at all what rod to pair it with.
I like the Daiwa Morethan 31 pound braid but it’s discontinued, other wise it’s tasline
TD sol rod is really good for the Dollars
I’ve been using the new Sol I got off your mate a few months ago Wayne and landed some good fish w it. Hasn’t missed a beat for me so far.
Good reels aye, im loving mine
The Certate is a luxury reel, quality components and performance is first class! The Sol isn’t available in the UK and the Exist is Uber expensive. One thing to note with expensive reels is that you tend to look after them. A bit like expensive watches!
Exist is over $1000 here in nz,Pitt about not getting the Sol they are very nice
I bought Zipwakes recently and only been out with it one time. I can't figure out how to disable the dynamic pitch control. I bought it only for the roll control, not the trim.. It was a bit of following seas and I had the boat trimmed accordingly for the conditions and I figured out that the zipwakes were working overtime to bring the bow down...
In menu set the zip wakes to be down at low speed to assist you getting on plane then to be fully up at like 15 knots, then they will just control roll not pitch, when set right they will get you up then just control roll. Mine are set at 100% at 2 knots and fully up at 17 knots. Think you’ll find they are working fast to control roll, if you need any help contact me on messenger under “Wayne Downer” or reply here and I’ll do another small video for you
Good afternoon. When turning the engine to the right, it makes much louder noises than when turning it to the left. What can it be? Here on video. ruclips.net/user/shortsqCgITsiLa8g
That’s normal, I had mine replaced under warranty and it was no better, I was told it was ok , that’s the reason I’m now using a Garmin Force
@@pannieslayer7699
This painful thing, save a fish life !
Allows it to go back to the bottom
I have one Problem with my ulterra. I can put it in and out, thats all. I dont can Turn it arround or Start the Engine or Start the anchor. I Make the reset Three times. May be you can help me.
Mine was a remote control issue when it did the same, only 2 buttons worked, try down loading the app and see if it works using app off your phone to confirm remote Is not working
@@pannieslayer7699 You are Right. I changed the Battery from the Remote Control and every think is working now.
Before I finish the video, I’m pretty sure grease is a good conductor. I’ll be amazed if this fixes it
Dialectic grease is a non conductor and what I used
no grease or lubricant on the screw part !!- per Minn Kota Advice. see at 9:15 ruclips.net/video/ebAPY3u6LJw/видео.html
They tell you what not to do but not what to do
@@pannieslayer7699 Not sure whats your point? That's a great Vid for maintenance, and they're correct to not lubricate that part which will only attract dust and dirt which will affect its performance
@@fussybugger the units don’t come with any maintenance for those of us who used them in salt water, they are a high maintenance unit that’s not suited to salt, the instructions are not the best.
