The problem with Love is that its a feeling a second hand emotion, feelings come and go. Love is something that has to be kept up like being in shape or a house ..so it will never be unconditional on any level. Since i stopped listening to her and doing whatever she wanted me to do, started living more for myself, and then i saw her true colors, it made me think that the concept of "unconditional love" doesn't really exist, yes not even from your parents. I won’t lie I have experienced unconditional love But the biggest thing I’ve noticed is that it seems to be much easier for people to love you unconditionally when you treat them bad and lack respect for them. My ex for example I would dog her, abuse, and emotionally neglect her and till this day she still reaches out to me every few months to see how I am doing even though I do not reciprocate the same energy. Once we broke up she even told me she would always love me despite all I did to her.
