Well, if you read at least one source book on design, you'd get all of this and more. Start off by reading something. Don't worry less than 10% of designers don't read even a shampoo label. And, I think you're not making the most of your school and that's... unfortunate. I have just started to read a book by Kimberly Elam "Grid Systems: Principles of Organizing Type". If you're interested in a complete approach.
Hi Satori, you inspired me so much from all your videos. I've learned Photoshop in a young age of 14 out of hobby and I have been using it for all my academic projects ever since. I am 21 now, bumped to your video and decided to step up my game and learn more about graphic design in general. Your videos are helping me in a lot of ways - skills improvement and prepping my small business as well. Thank you so much for the hard work, and looking forward to the new series!
Many thanks always Satori, to show my love and support I'm watching and not skipping the ads on your video because I can't afford donating. A self taught (YT Academy/Satori Graphics) designer from Philippines.
I have just discovered your channel. And the only thing i will say is that this is one of the best graphic design RUclips channels i have seen. Beautifully edited videos, invaluable information, and clear easy-to-understand explanation. Thank you !.
God bless you Satori. I use to be in tech over a decade ago but decide to leave it and try other things. Thanks to the pandemic, I decided to come back to tech and stick with it and improve. Now I'm learning to become a graphic designer and love watching your videos.
Thanks mate! I'll keep the "Hierarchy" in mind. One thing is the best part when comes to attraction in a design is to make the main image attractive in a creative way. And I though of Photoshop Manipulation 😉 If it's Typography, then Illustrator.
Loved this tutorial.. hierarchy... I did not know so many things..like the colors that there is list of colors that attract the most to the colors that are least... Thank u..
Straight and clear to the point man! Loving the first part of Design Principles man. Indeed, Hierarchy is really an important principle because it will be the one to make your design standout. Cheers man! Up next, Design Principles Part 2! It's like I am taking a Graphic Design course, except it's for free!
This was super helpful, been getting away with eyeballing designs for far too long. I was stagnating, especially since I found love in web design/ development.
lol, I came from a video of you talking about graphic design principles, I type graphic design principles in the search bar and the first video is yours. hehe, well done! cheers
The hierarchy point is simple common sense. There is no requirement to bombard, and mesmerize, the viewer, relentlessly, with motion graphics. Subdued, and subtle communication, will come over as more assured.
Just another amazing video ✅ I started my graphic design videos and I still learn more from you as well 😀 very glad to what you do for the design community. I believe the next generation of designers will be some really amazing 👏 💯💯💯
@@SatoriGraphics Youre most welcome. Anytime. On a lighter note, I tried to use Milanote but the I'm still warming up to the UI. I want to know, do u think it is a good tool to organize social media posts like Buffer but without the auto publish?
Hi @satorigraphics. Love your videos, just started watching. Nice, clear visuals and voiceover. P.S. The word importance is missing the 't' at 00:33 !!
I don't need to be a nice english speaker to understand what are you saying with these dynamics illustrations in the video. Thank you a lot for your work in Design and videos.
I’d love it if you could give link of the imagery sources you use, as a web developer, some of those designs really intrigue me and I’d love to check them out in details
