- November is our favorite time for big rainbows. With the cooler weather and the weed die off we can hit the river with ease using Rapalas. This stretch of river in the mountains of Idaho provides some incredible scenery and outstanding fishing.

I see more and more people on this section of river every year. It is no longer a secret. Nice work, there are some nice fish in there certainly times of the year.
Another great video with some fat fish! I just love those fall colors. Solid!
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks for watching Frank!
I use 5lb pound floroclear for heavier fish, using a smaller diameter line and better casting also better action on lures.
Great fish. Wow!!!
When holding a rainbow up to the camera with the snow capped mountains in the back out there, sure looks better than holding up a bass with the cabins of Pokegama as the background here. Good vid as usual.
Haha! But I do love a Pokegama bass though! 😀
Great intro!
Thanks man!
Looks a lot like some of the spots I fish around here, next door in Washington. But you hook up a lot more than I do. It's a bit overfished around here.
That makes a big difference. This spot is rarely fished because of a lot of private property around the area.
And thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
What a fun day of fishing and some great fighting trout as well! Looking forward to the next trip!
Thanks for watching! I look forward to the next trip as well!
Makes me wonder why I’m drifting #22 microscopic emerger patterns with 6x tippet to rising rainbows that will refuse anything that doesn’t resemble the EXACT pattern only to be humbled over and over when…
Yeah.
Haha! I’d wonder the same thing! But honestly I just don’t have the patience to be a fly fisherman. 😀
Is that the orange shad rap and you change the hooks out for singles ? Great video by the way :)
That’s right! Thanks for watching. Here’s more on the single hooks and why we do it. SR05 Rapala. ruclips.net/video/evST17vjE0o/видео.html
You in Cascade or McCall? Way to go.
I'm in Idaho :-)
Our place is right on the river and I've been sworn to secrecy by family and friends.
Lol I get it I'm in Idaho as well maybe I'll see you out on the water one of these days. Don't worry if I see someone fishing in a hole I move on to the next spot.
No worries! I do love taking people fishing so if you see me out there please join!
What river is that
You might not be in Heaven yet, but you can absolutely see it from that rivers edge ♥️🇺🇸 the biggest thing I came away with on this video was “ I must go fishing more” or stay jealous of you 😂🤣😆
Best regards from your neighbor to the West ✌🏼😎 in Oregon..
You should go fishing brother!
@@OLDHATOUTDOORS I sure do 🇺🇸
Good stuff boss just subbed. Were actually a local spoon lure comoany out of emmett, id maybe we csn go fish 1 day. Look us up on fb
Cool! Just checked them out. Some great looking spoons. Love the single hook option. Do you have lake trout size that I could vertical jig?
