Good lecture, please add images of the things being talked about (bcoz we've read enough and we've listened enough exposition but we haven't SEEN what they look like)

In This episode He(devdutt sir) indeed went into lot of specifics Like standardisation ratio of brick 1:2:4 (L:B:H); Northwest-Eastwest Roads, and Give good insight into Harappan Civilization. I have noted them. Lets see if any question in bullshit Pre exam comes from this. The problem is they have made Pre very factual, Erratic, Luck based exam. These conceptual things are not asked and they are into factual stuff and mugging up and recall stuff too much. Your initiative of Second season is good. But please don't leave us in Doldrums. Complete it with good notes giving point like this episode(But you can remove some filler, to add more content).

Please put as less filler sentences as possible and talk to the point with exact date(This 4 and a half Thousand years ago etc. Thing is too long, just say 2500 BC to 1500 BC for harappan period). Please cover UPSC questions, take any mains question and explain its answer with concrete facts also. You delve too much into philosophy and connecting it to present time, that matter lose its essence. This year i read Too much Current affair, UPSC specials, and UPSC weekly quiz, it didn't help me much, because you don't go that deep into topic and reading too much of generalist approach towards any static portion waters down the content and give false sense of completion to the reader but it backfires a lot when You attempt Prelims questions. They are getting into specifics and asking things from Confusing areas, general stuff everyone knows, cover confusing parts, in history specially Transition periods say for e.g. between Maurya and gupta, Vakataka period; Chalukya-Pallava rivalry and transition phase and rise of cholas, Then at the some earlier point how Hoysalas came after Rashtrakutas and how architecture changed. Alongwith quick recap of literary writings done under patronage of lesser known kings. Similarly in medieval cover East india company (EIC) to 1857 in more detail(Many Anglo-xxxx wars cover all, xxx× denote Aghan, Mysore, Maratha, Sikh etc) Don't harp back on gandhian movement too much. And also focus on what was Policy undertaken by Various Governer Generals. I mean These are only given in Books mostly and wikipedia, you cover in very superfluous way. The best i think writers are two or three Who go some deep in issue, of IE, are 1. Udit Misra (He is the best, but he should be more economic than Political, His latest BoP explained was good) 2. Harish damodaran ( Writes good about Agriculture related policy, but sometimes get too off from UPSC syllabus). 3. Apurva Vishwanath(She is best and single stop solution for totally Legal perspective on any policy matter, legislation, Constitutional Amendment govt. Make, She does not go Political in her views which i like the most). 4. And then in climate policy and S&T, Amitabh sinha is At god Level, i love his articles, they are very crisp, and to the point, engages readers and makes some very subtle points but it is unfortunate whatever notes i made from it went into vain because in Prelims Not any question come from What he covers. So please cover from UPSC point of view. That IR guy (Subhijit roy) Actually helped a lot in Prelims and his content had some High ROI acc. To me in this prelims. But please make your explained page UPSC centric and don't go on explaining every trivial unecessary Short term Political news because it gives FOMO and People lose their sleep and compromise on static. Let the issue fully develop and then Publish big article on it like TH does in its text and context. These are my suggestions. I have been following IE + TH for 2 years but no luck in Prelims so far, this year i think i have missed by Very less margin i was scoring around 89-92 from Vajiram in general category. So this year my focus will be mostly on Static and then some very good articles of above authors. I will leave Editorial and Ideas page. Only will cover Explained, Economy(it is actully very good page sometimes better than Explained for Economic matters, because directly jumps into the core issue without giving background), front page(just gloss over), and World news.
