Remember corona times and then relate it to untouchability, then you will not see anything wrong with that, in 2020 we are not able to handle the pandemic, then think about what would be the situation at these times, so untouchability came from these Mahamaris and not from varna or caste, dont confuse people of India.

    Very informative.
I have read Tony Joseph's articles in 'The Hindu'. Genetic studies throw a lot of light on history.
I would like to hear about how Buddhism was driven away from India.
Was Shankaracharya casteist? Can someone enlighten me on these?

My myth about Devdutt has been busted today. Mythology can make as much sense if we try to understand it with an open mind and scientifically.

Devdutt is spinning a fine yarn. Srilanka as ravana kingdom is already spoken about much earlier than chola kings and Kamba Ramayana. He is much before Kamban. Appar the saiva saint who lived in 7 century AD during Pallava time identified ravana with srilanka clearly - surely pallavas did not invade lanka - sixth thirumurai, 39 pathikam and song 10.
Devdutt needs to deepen his knowledge instead of imposing western theories of a non unified india and that south identified lanka with ravana only by 10 century . He is unfortunately a half baked and fraud scholar even if his conceptual leaps are very interesting sometimes
