For wireless lav mic go with the Hollyland Lark M2 over the DJI, Rode, or Lark m1. The Lark M2 is superior to all of those, much smaller in size, and overall a better bang for your buck
This is really helpful. I’m a part of a podcast but the owner wants me to run it so now I slowly started getting equipment. Thank you for this input bc now I know exactly what to get!!
So me and some friends are starting a podcast 4 in total and we are going to start using an IPhone first… we have 4 wireless dji mics like you talked about but only one receiver can go into the phone… is there a way to have all 4 mics working at once?
Great video and very informative! I was wondering if you have any advice for recording interview style video podcast? How should i tackle the audio if I have two phones recording? How/ where do I plug the receiver and how then I edit it all? Thank you!
Record to just one phone then sync the audio of each video file in the editing software. If you clap twice when you start recording that helps you find the right starting point for each clip.
Hey can you guys help me get started in setting up to do interviews with my iPhone 15 pro max? I’m totally new at this and could use all the help I can get. I plan on interviewing people from like senators to influencers . So I’ll be traveling to a lot of different places and want to travel as light and simple as possible.
Hey i have a Wire SetUp and I don’t know how to film it on my iPhone and then use the audio I got with my mic over it. Does anyone know what software I could use?
If you go into your settings, then camera, and look at the video resolution settings, it will give you an approximation of how much storage is used per minute of video. Depending on how much storage you have, you might need to film at a lower resolution.
I would highly recommend filming in 4k to get the best quality possible. You can still upload in 1080p if you’d like but definitely film in 4k if you can.
Great content dude, we really appreciate. keep it up

Will an iPhone be able to store a recording session of about one hour in length? If not, what steps should be taken to?
