Chance to meet true wild elephant in the National Park is not just the icing over the top, but crown jewel!! You guys were very lucky. I aand my friends once had been treking in this park leaded by a forestry officer and found tiger's footprint along our trail. A very rare phenominal and you can't imagine what our feeling would be for sure. Thus, our treking plan suddenly changed from continue walking and camping in the wild to catch a car to the arranged camp-site instead, phew!!
We were definitely very lucky I think back to that trip a lot and want to go back to Thailand all the time. I can imagine seeing tiger tracks would be quite concerning to say the least! I actually asked the guide what to do if we saw a tiger on this trip and he laughed and just said “run.”
I visited Thailand in 2019 but I visited the 🐘 sanctuaries and 🐅 sanctuaries at chiang mai but couldn't go to wildlife sanctuaries like safari. I wanna know is there a way to hire safari all alone cuz I often suffer from nausea so I want to sit in front seat.
I'm sure there is a way that someone could accommodate that...if you reach out to GreenLeaf Tours they would be happy to assist you (link in the description...not affiliated with them either btw). Give them a shout, I really enjoyed the tour they gave me. I would highly recommend you don't miss seeing wild elephants while in Thailand - they are incredible beings! Best of luck and thanks for watching!
I paid an all-inclusive fee through the tour operator (don’t remember how much it was…I want to say around ฿1,600, but I don’t remember exactly). It’s a ฿400 entrance fee per adult if you enter the park on your own (฿200 for kids). Just be careful if you enter the park on your own!
