The seno wall attack to me reminds me of the boss fight with galactic nova’s heart from Kirby Super Star. I don’t get why it was unused, it’s a really good idea.
@@Len_ancha yeah, these examples are likely just early prototypes of attacks ideas, if they actually decided to implement those, they would have been properly been balanced around the boss general difficulty.
The rotating wall one made me realize: difficulty 9 should happen when you cheat (Edit: Also, difficulty 4 and such are too difficult because the walls don’t explode)

I'll say it here since it's the first video of the bunch and it's also the longest one, it's so cool to already see unused content for this game! My favorite one is Spamton's pendulum attack.
Very on-brand, with how lots of them look like cent signs - which also serves the gameplay use of giving the player a visible weak point to shoot. If I had to pick one of these attacks to add, I would actually pick this one!
Would be cool if some of these were in the final game, like the sneo walls and the pendulum. The final version of the fight is a bit too easy compared to the previous chapter's superboss
@@josuegarro5437 He is... His attack patterns are definitely easier to understand but each hit deals like 50 damage. And you gotta remember that you only play as Kris, no healer Ralsei and no tanky Susie. 4 hits and you're done.
@@MarcDoesNotKnow spamton attacks even with only Kris are much easier to learn to not get hit, you also don’t have to worry about things like reviving ralsei or Susie compared to the Jevil fight, which attacks are definitely more chaotic to avoid, Spamton is very mechanical
Was wondering about those blue orbs... and that first attack that orbits around the whole box like Jevil's looks great That pendelum attacks was also really cool, my guess is that it didn't LOOK cool? The elevator concept could be polished more but I hope we see more of that, like from Muffet's fight

When watching I realized something with the crusher attack. I have a feeling that it was possibly a little sneaky reference to Metal Crusher. The wall attack at the beginning too. The fact that it goes backwards reminds me of the Mettaton EX attack where it rewinded and went backwards, you even shoot out holes in the walls in both the Mettaton and Spamton attacks.
Interesting to see he had his own version of the carousel attack at one point. Another potential link between the shadow crystal holders before that got severed it seems. Wonder if the heart attack was just the team experimenting with heart hitbox sizes before settling on the final ones. Doesn't look like there's a difference between the actual attacks themselves? Crusher attack seems kind of unfinished artistically and balance wise it definitely looks to be more in a prototype stage with how rough it is to dodge. Though I wonder if we'll see something like that later in the game in a more refined state. The elevator just seems like the purple soul with extra steps. Doesn't look like the idea went very far and I'm not surprised. Unless they never intend to use the purple soul mechanics at all, seems like they could just plop those mechanics into a boss fight instead a roundabout way of having the yellow soul mimic that. Pendulum seems like the most finished of the attack set, though it looks significantly easier to dodge than most of the other attacks.
That bruh moment ehen a boss has too many attacks so some unfortunate ones have to get scrapped. Seriously though, wall controller and pendulum attacks are so cool. They should be added back and make spamton neo a bit longer of a fight.
Can you document these things I found as well? • Flying saucer room in Queen's mansion is different on the weird route, despite being inaccessible • Slight differences in Queen fight on weird route (normally impossible to fight Queen on weird route) • Noelle's dialouge if she's brought to Spamton's shop after encountering him, despite not being possible to go back that far i don't think these are really known about aside from the 3rd one i listed
@@Skawo all good, maybe compile a big list of stuff like these? would be interesting the minor queen fight changes on weird route include an unused attack, but you can just press a number key with debug to change her attack anyway so its easier to show that way, dunno which number it is though

Man, that crusher attack went through a _lot_ of revisions before being scrapped entirely. Oh well... I wonder if the sneo_cshot attack was meant to be improved on and eventually used, but Toby (or Taxiderby) just forgot about it, because the attack seems simple enough to be tweaked and it has no variants!
I didn't know Spamton NEO would be way harder than we though it was. 2:21 This one could've been used but it deals no damage but it could've made the heads shoot those white beams if you don't shoot them in time.

The background reminds me of how Spamton was going to be a “recruitable” enemy but was cut. Maybe these were going to be his challenge attacks? Edit: I also noticed that some of the blue faces change their expression when shot.
Some of these look quite interesting to be honest, especially the spinning head thingy and the bouncing pillars one, the pendulum and the circle one, and the one where its like the purple soul in undertale is really interesting too
idea for an attack: spamton: "what" "are you serious?" spamton turns the phone around "wrong number" the phone spits out 2 pepis on reciver and ear parts, which each go out a small distance and then explode facing mostly the general area of the box. the pepis take 0.75 seconds to explode, and shooting one will make it fly at the player and explode when touching the box. damage can be delt to spamton via hitting the phone. the pepis spits out 6 times, with a recharge rate of 0.5
Makes me wish Spamton Neo kept those attacks, or at least some of them because as far as i'm concerned, he is a way easier boss than Jevil was, which is sad concerning how they're supposed to get harder than the previous. These unused attacks would've made Spamton Neo's fight way more interesting.
The pendulum attack makes me wish that there was a bigger focus on the puppeteer strings/Spamton's puppet-like state

It's pretty unbalanced for the context of Spamton Neo's fight, but I think someone would've balanced out the attacks anyway.

Well, I checked it out, and while the queen fight is indeed different, the flying saucer room is not, as far as I can tell.

The dojo is also a good place to test battles, since it's easy to edit what enemy is in the fight and the attacks with the mod tool
The unused triple-heart attack was pretty neat, they weren't all just bigger, the small ones were also linked to his chest instead of the main heart.
