Good to hear Sarah is going to the tent! Joe is a lucky man his kids are older and they still have time for him! I’ve watched this family for. Few years now and it’s evident that they have family values that many don’t have these days! I’ve never been bored watching Joes videos! Deer hunting and winter trip are my favorites! But the others are great as well!
I enjoyed watching you guys being so energetic, enjoying life yet so calm and grown up, finding joy in a basic meal. Much of you tube is voice loudness with repetitive loud music and spewing of hatred and stupidity. Its nice to listen to warm conversation and comfortable silences.
That was a nice little trip thanks for letting us tag along, good to see you and your son get out there and run the snowmobile looked like a great day.
A city on the lake! I remember folks in Minnesota all going up from the cities on weekends but frankly, it seemed they were all about being drunk and hooking up - I stayed home! LOL. The snowmobile and trailers worked great - all your stuff packed up nice and it ran perfectly. Maybe all the riding you did at the farmhouse worked some dirty gas out of the system. It's fun to see you go out and play!
Great video, some really good clips on the sno-go ride! Thanx for letting us tag along on your family day. Waiting on the tent trip and the stove drawing on the first light, lol. Be careful!
I told a friend of mine in Florida that I was going to build an ice shack for fishing. He thought I was going to build it out of ice. We had a nice laugh over that. Thanks for sharing.
Joe that was a really nice day you got to spend with Zachary. I'm glad the sun was out, the weather a little nicer for you. I got a kick out of how you & Zach roasted the brats. It worked, that's all that matters. I could almost feel the wind stinging my face while riding with Zach. Enjoyed ice fishing with you both! See you at the tent!
Nice job guys! That looks like a big lake. Cant wait to see the tent get warmed up and lots of good cooking there😀 Have lots of fun and put up a long video from the trip Joe!
Hi Joe, It's been a longtime since I made a comment. Great video, great relationship with your kids and great footage..... your videos bring me to a happy calm place - thank you.
Hello from Vermont!! Hope you all are well just had a binge fest of all older videos wow alot of great content. You are awesome to share your life Thank you always. Can't wait till you show the tent video. I had a chuckle when Zach was on the sled watching it made it seem like I was there. Great time family memories and lots of love. Take care always🤗
My uncle used to take me ice fishing in Pennsylvania he had a good size fish house and we would spend several nights on the lake wonderful times live in North Carolina now still fish but no ice 😬 thank you for both channels and making theses videos
Joe, I really enjoy the ice fishing videos, I guess because I'm from Tennessee and I've always wanted to give that a try. You guys do it in style. I took the boat out today and fished for 5 hours, it was 53 here on Cherokee Lake.
Looks like you and Zach had a great time Joe. I just got back from Cambridge where my oldest is living now. I also found out about 10 days ago that I'm going to be a grandpa for the first time in August.
Thanks for the video Joe it was great seeing you and Zack having fun and I'am looking forward to your cabin trip it's not going to take forever to cross the lake this year. A couple of heated helmets might come in handy Joe😉. Much peace and love from northeast Texas.
When tying two sleds together like that to pull out make the distance between the two sleds just long enough to make a tight turn. This way when you stop the second sled will only move forward a couple feet beforw hitting the back of the first sled. I learned the lesson a few years back when my second sled slid forward and went o er the first sled and hit the snow machine. Just some thoughts from a guy who ice fishes way to much for my wifes liking. Grear video. Those small Northers are great for pickling. Joe I think you need to sharpen your hooks or get new ones. Tbey make a tray/grate for those buddy heaters so you can cook on them.
Here in mass we are allowed 5 hooks per person, we have a pair of eagles on a local pond that we take your fish if you leave it on the ice and walk away a few feet. wish we had a lake that loaded with northerns
Sgt. Roos, John T. (Ret.) I'm so glad that the snowmobile did so well on this 'Dry run"!:) Zack caught the bass, I've never caught any bass during the winter. My Dad had a big ice fishing trailer that he would put out on the ice on Buck Lake, MN. The short channel that led into Cass Lake never froze out during the winter. I hope that you and your Daughter Sara have a good trip to 'The Tent!' That will be kind of weird going there in a snowmobile!:) I mean you always went on snowshoes... Watch out for any springs that might be there. Thanks for letting us be there with you!:) Semper Fidelis
I enjoyed y'all fishing and riding the snowmobile. Nice bass there Zach. Bass is may favorite down here in Texas and New Mexico. I think everyone has lost fish and it happens. I carry a stone to sharpen hooks.
Very nice post!! It’s not always about how big or how many. Just had a chance to blow the cob webs out and spend the day with your son. The day ended with both of you enjoying the sled fantastic!!!
i have not ben on the ice were im at lake mi we got pike my fav to fish for on the ice i ws sick most the winter feelin much better im a fan of your channels wish you guy luck on the ice
Thanks Joe n Zach for 🎣 ice fishing; next time Joe!! I am excited for the winter tent with Sarah and the snowmobile. Instead of walking in the snow on the lake, that always looked so tedious. Have Fun!!
I have relatives, friends etc up north so I know it’s common practice but I just can’t wrap my head around the thought of driving my truck out on a frozen lake. Here in North Missouri that would rarely be doable. Great video
I had a friend who was a mechanic servicing units for Manitoba hydro before he retired, who drove the ice roads for a living. Before entering an ice road, he would unclasp his seat belt and roll the window down. The service truck is so heavy, it pushes a pressure wave in the ice ahead of it. If something goes wrong and the truck goes through, you won't have time to unbuckle or get the window rolled down to get out before you're under water.
Hi joe is this new snowmobile ? fancy sausage cooking , you come long way and setup and live very soon I though you staying overnight. bit disappointed sort trips. Love your tent
Hey Joe that's awesome that that snowmobile works I'm glad you're going to spend some time with your daughter up to the tent and I went fishing yesterday American Lake in Lakewood Washington I caught my limit 5 18in inch rainbow trout 3 are in the freezer and I had two for dinner so yummy see you on the next video
a old meet in the middle fishing outting! i do the same thing with my boys they come up from Virginia and i come down from thunderbay! fun times! if the border ever opens again!
I have a couple of those folding tables we use inside our fish houses. You should do a quick demo on how they fold and set up or how you build them (assuming you built them yourself). Looks like you both had fun spending quality time together = what life is about.👍🏻
Hey Joe & Zach just to let you know a little helpful hint about how to cook on those Mr buddy heaters i have seen others where they take the grate off the front & turn it around & hook it onto the top!! You might have to also flip it over also & then the grate should lay pretty flat out and away from the heater just like on a grill!! Then you should be able to just put your brats on the grate & cook them so you can keep fishing while you are cooking!! Of course you will still have to watch & turn them but not have to stand there the hole time until your food is done & wast time not being able to fish!! Give this a try & let me no if & how well it works for you!!
Great video Joe and Zach! Looks like your son was the lucky one this time. LOL, so glad the new snowmobile worked so well. Will be so much nicer when you and Sarah cross the lake on your way to the tent. I'm so looking forward to that video! Are you guys taking either or both of the doggies ?
Hey Joe, sorry if i didnt word my comment and question correctly. I do know Sara is your Daighter and Melissa is your fiance. (not quite that senile yet) LOL or maybe I am and just don't know it. Ha, anyway i was curious if you might bring the pooches with you but now that i think about it you couldn't cross the lake with the dogs. (OKAY the senile thing is making sense now) LOL. Anyway, can't wait to see the winter trip video!!!
Looks 👀like the snowmobile worked out real good looks cold still how thick was the ice us here I il is 10 1/2” at least that’s the thickes that it been in many years

Joe, I love how you spend time with your children. You make it a point to do so, good dad!! Loved the way you let Zack catch all the fish.
Thanks for taking me along Joe! I would have never gotten to go ice fishing so glad I had a chance to see what it's all about

I enjoyed watching you guys being so energetic, enjoying life yet so calm and grown up, finding joy in a basic meal. Much of you tube is voice loudness with repetitive loud music and spewing of hatred and stupidity. Its nice to listen to warm conversation and comfortable silences.
Awesome Zach camera work from the sled! "Hanging on for dear life", yeah, I'll bet...
Joe's done a great job with his kids, great kids.
Enjoyed that ride out on the ice, but "I'm hanging on for dear life...!"

Catching beer sounds like a pretty good time to me. Can’t wait for the winter trip movie.
Man I'm excited that you and Sarah are going to the tent ⛺ have a safe trip can't wait to see the video i love your videos keep up the great work
Big joe, it's best to keep propane tank outside. If it ever was to fail and release its load better outside than in the tent. Thx
It was outside. I brought it in and then lifted the ice shelter up and scooted the tank outside.
That Eskimo would make a nice deer blind camp
Here in mass we are allowed 5 hooks per person, we have a pair of eagles on a local pond that we take your fish if you leave it on the ice and walk away a few feet. wish we had a lake that loaded with northerns
That sled looks brand new
Hey Joe before you leave for the tent did you get a new snow shovel??
Good to see the temps moderate a bit and get a fishing trip in the books. Look forward to the winter trip video
I was going to comment on how insane this is, until I saw the elaborate apartments. That is just plain crazy. To each his own. TY for sharing.
Makes me nostalgic for the early days of your YT channel, when you and Zach were able to spend more time together on your adventures.

Y’all got lucky your Auger bit was long enough..
Stay Safe & GodBless

Was that ice like 4ft thick? Wow!!!!
About 2 feet thick.
As a fella from Tennessee I love to crappie fish, but it would be an absolute pleasure to ice fish up north one winter. It looks so enjoyable.
That sled is going to be a good one. Plenty of snap and should work well for the winter trip.
Hi joe is this new snowmobile ? fancy sausage cooking , you come long way and setup and live very soon I though you staying overnight. bit disappointed sort trips. Love your tent
I never stay over night when ice fishing. I just bought that snowmobile two weeks ago.
Can’t wait for the tent.
How warm does it get in there?
We had to turn it down to low, we were baking in there.
Looks like you got a great sled for the money! I always had Polaris.
was looking forward to seeing the wood stove in the shanty??
Not this time. It wasn't all that cold out.
