Do Wasp Like Bright Colors?

Do Wasp Like Bright Colors? Wanted to do some night fishing. When I went to get my fishing pole the fishing Bobber was loaded with wasp. Never saw this before. Are they attracted to bright colors? Glad I saw this before I put the pole in the car.

Hey to the family, just wanted to say I’m also sorry to hear about your Dad passing away. Sounded like a really knowledgeable guy. Another video of his just helped me rewire an outlet safely tonight (which I had done wrong), so our outside Christmas lights stay on in his honor tonight.
