1) bathroom bins should ALWAYS have lids for more than one reason. ( nobody needs to see what's discarded in a bathroom bin including snotty discarded tissues) 😂 2) a weekly clean with bleach and open windows. 3) definitely spray toilet brushes! 4) using a bath floor towel over the rugs during showers is essential and saves your rug from frequent washes and dampness. 5) during the summer months hang bath rugs outside to dry and air out. 6) make sure to clean around the base of your toilet properly especially if a man lives in the house. 7) boil water on the stove and pour down sink and bath tub after cleaning the weekly clean. 8) sometimes you have to clean the toilet everyday 9) use the bathroom fan during showers 10) bath towels and rags should be changed out much more often than most people think! White towels are best. It shows up all the dirt and quickly signals a need for change! 11) wipe floors with hot water and bleach. 12) leave shower curtain liners pulled out to facilitate proper draining of the liners! 13) a good air fresher for those horrible number 2s. 😂 14) clear shower drains after each shampoo 15) essential oils and expensive cleaners aren't necessary. That way, you’re preserving more of the reactive materials than adding lemon juice directly so you’ll get a much stronger clean after. I started by sprinkling the baking soda all around the bottom of toilet and then I sprayed the baking soda with lemon lysol spray and let it soak for 30min then I got a few dryer sheets and scrubbed all the toilet top to bottom and all my bathroom floor, I cleaned trash can same exact way. I cleaned my toilet brush exactly like this video indicates, I put coffee grains and a candle in a bowl, and put Downey dots in a bag, I put lavender oil in my toilet roll and in cotton balls at the bottom of trash can. I don't have mats or don't keep towels in my bathroom for the same reason this video suggest. My bathroom smells heavenly. I recommend this video to all that are trying to eliminate bad odors.
A trick I use when making similar bath bombs is mixing any liquid and the baking soda first, the very last step before putting it into the molds is adding the citric acid slowly and gently mixing it in. That saves the “fizz” action for when you use it. Liquid activates the citric acid but you really only get one good fizz out of them. So by mixing it in after the baking soda has absorbed most of the liquid it doesn’t cause that much of a reaction.

Those little felt disks work well too. I stick one on the back of my trash can, add a little essential oil and the scent lasts. I just add a few more drops whenever needed.
