Omniel that's a very nice sleek tshirt! And the ones who follow you from the very start we've seen a huge improvement in the quality of the videos. I personally love those long videos and I am happy you kept that format :) Regarding the coffee, weird fermentations are starting to be a thing now around roasters. I loved one from Dark Woods Coffee I am actually going to try and send you a pack because that tasted like grape fanta, it was quite a thing. Take care my friend and hope you enjoyed London!
Hey buddy, glad to see you in the comments. I'm glad you've been posting a bit more on Instagram, that way I can follow along on your adventures. It's too bad we didn't have more time in London, very little we can get into with just three days. If my wife would be more into coffee, I'm sure we could have gone to a couple more shops. I will talk more about the trip once I record the video as to the Square Mile Coffee. The fermented coffee's are fun, although I could see how they may not be for everyone. Take care my friend, and have a great day.
@@OmnielCapote Yeah I will try and be more active in the comments! sometimes I watch the video, give a like and because of busy days I forget to comment. London in 3 days is more like a rushed visit I understand, it's also too busy as you might have seen but hope the 3 days were enjoyable. And I agree fermented coffees are definitely not for everyone's taste and I personally prefer good washed coffees, but it's good to experiment sometimes with those weird flavours. I am going to send you an ig message because I really want to get you that coffee and see what you think about it!
Im so glad youve been sticking to these longer style of videos. Pretty fun to see a “raw” experience and just listening to what you have to say in general. Don’t worry about the black shirt either!
Hello Wojtek. Thank you for watching, and for your comment. I really appreciate your support. Go take care of the family buddy, we'll catch up next time. Have a great week my friend.
I watched 4 of your videos tonight and enjoyed your approach. If you continue to approach specialty coffees with a bit of funk, like🎉 Black and White, September, and Goodbrothers, I will continue to be a viewer. I particularly appreciate your doing both Espresso and pour over in the same video. Keep searching for Artisan roasters to present for our use and edification. Nice use of the two cameras, but the way.
Hello, and welcome to the comments. Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it. The engagement in the comments is the reason I keep making these videos. I'm always on the lookout for interesting coffees, and I hope to keep bringing them to you guy's here. Again, thank you so much for your comment, and have a wonderful day.
Hello and welcome to the comments, we love having you here. This means a lot. Comments like this one, is what keeps me going. Thank you so much, and have a wonderful day.
Have been watching your videos for a while now but first time commenting. Well done for the vibe you transmit. I’m waiting for delivery of my own Bianca in black. In the meantime I watch your show while making my morning duo of drinks made up of an espresso followed by a flat white on my modded Gaggia Classic. Keep it up!
Hello friend, and welcome to the comments. The comments from everyone here really help me to stay motivated making the videos. Like I always say, "what's the point in recording myself making coffee every weekend " 😅. If our little group keeps on enjoying this content, we'll keep going, and see what happens 😅. I'm always learning from you guys, and that makes it fun for me. You will enjoy the Bianca, it's a beast of a machine. Thank you for taking the time to comment, and have a wonderful week ahead.
I prefer my whisky neat and my coffee unprocessed. The simple things in life float my boat. When pulling a blooming expresso, I grind 20 grams fine, with 45 in the cup, in about one minute. Slow ramping up and down.
Good morning Omniel: Just sayin' - Your shirt looks fine to me. Let's make some coffee 🙂 As for the proper focusing, lighting and music background... they add the perfect touch and enhancement. Your videos appear as professional productions. Thanks for your review of the Black & White this morning. That is one brand that I've never tried. Take care and I hope you enjoy a wonderful week ahead, Kerry
Hello Kerry. You always know how to brighten up my day with just the perfect comment, thank you. I really enjoyed the coffee you sent me, it was perfect. I will talk about it more in future videos. I wish I had time for at least 2 videos per week, but that's not in the cards right now, maybe one day. Are you warming up in your neck of the woods? It's still very nice in South Florida, soon it will be to hot for comfort 🔥😅. Take care my friend, and have a wonderful day. 🙏
Yes, it's been quite nice the last few weeks... In fact, today our temperature reached into the high 60's and they are calling for the low 70's tomorrow. Phil (the groundhog) predicted an early Spring and I believe he told the truth for a change? We have Crocuses blooming out front and several of our Tulips have sprouted and some even have begun to form buds at the top. I counted nine Hyacinths out front today that are all around an inch above the ground. I've prepped our small garden plot and it's now ready and awaiting new plantings. I started several trays of onions and sugar snap pea seeds that have all sprouted downstairs, under my grow lights, and I've got one whole full tray of different varieties of newly sprouted lettuces about a 1/4 inch tall. I plan to start my pepper seeds next week followed by my tomatoes the following week, so in a few more months we'll have fresh veggies growing again. And I almost forgot to mention that we should have a nice crop of fresh strawberries ready to eat sometime around mid-May 🙂
@kerrycoyle8930 I guess that it's definitely warming up, that is quite the crop. It sounds like the garden will be a lovely sight this year. Take care my friend. Have a great week.
i usually get my stash of B&W funky coffees whenever any friend/family visits India from states and they are amazing! i have noticed that they start losing the aroma/funkiness after a month's mark but not complaining xD Hoping to get my espresso setup this year and loved the video and the slow music on bg :)
Hopefully a lelit mara or profitec 400 with a df64. Honestly a meticulous or Odyssey feels interesting but let's see what other innovations we get to see this year 😃
I think you could benefit by grinding a lot coarser with this coffee to fix the channeling. Maybe try a 9 bar preinfusion and then ramp down to 6 bar for the rest of the shot aiming for a 1:3 in 30 seconds.
That could work, although I normally don't like blasting the puck with so much pressure right off the bat. What do you think about lower pressure shots, 6 bar, 7 bar, etc.? Thank you for the comment, and have a wonderful week ahead.
@@OmnielCapote I dont own a pressure profiling machine so my comment just comes based off of things ive read online. I hear that staying around the 6 bar area will make the espresso less harsh and achieve some sweetness. I could be totally wrong!
Was thinking of you the other day buddy! Have been busy recently couldn't catch up much on YT! Black shirt is good in too much whit environment tho. Lol
Hi great video! I have 2 questions. When performing your slayer shot how many grams in and how many out? What scale are you using that starts timing at first drip?
ruclips.net/video/NLWT_WIZjIo/видео.html The above link will take you to a video that talks a lot more about the Slayer Shot, but recently I recorded a couple of more videos that show the process, those videos will be up soon. As far as the ratio, it doesn't change from a regular shot, what changes is the pre-infusion timing. A good starting point is 30 seconds pre-infusion at 2 to 3 bar, and another 30 seconds at 9 bar. So the shot will be around 60 seconds all together. As to the scales, now a days there are quite a few on the market, that include the automatic espresso function. I own the Timemore Black Mirror Nano, and the Acaia Lunar, both can do it. I will provide a couple of links below that cover both scales. Thank you for watching, we love having you here in our community. Have a wonderful day. ruclips.net/video/GP7fIvBbFoQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/eWIbAuxqyBw/видео.html

Hello Michael. I did not manage a bloom shot here. I will give you a link at the bottom of my comment, for a video I recorded previously, that was all about the blooming espresso.
