Chris, great review on the exact rifle & caliber I’m looking to purchase. Your thorough and detailed review of the S90 Adventure was what I was looking for.
Thank you Mr Parkin for uploading your range time and being very informative about the Sako 90 Adventure, you did one on the Sako 90 Peak and I have been saving up like mad to get one before my next hunt 🤞 Nearly there .
Thanks and congratulations for all the great, interesting and informative content on your channel Chris. Very much appreciate your no nonsense, unbiased style. Looking forward to more in 2024. A happy and peaceful new year to yourself and family mate.
Happy new year to you Chris. Thanks for the great reviews. You are my go to guru. For stuff I want to know. Look forward to more from you in the new year!! 😁
Just got my fac this year and your reviews of fac, fac air and air are really helpful. In the short time I've got a 10/22, a 457 varmint and after the new year I'll be in the market for a fac air. Was thinking about a crown(I used to own one in .22), but I'm leaning towards a redwolf in .22. Great vids Chris, keep it up mate.
Thanks Chris, great stuff. I’ve owned Sakos in 75 Deluxe and 85 Black Bear. Now mainly use a Sauer 101. All are great guns, but I can’t see why I should pay more than twice as much ($Australian) for comparable Sako products.
Hey Chris appreciate all the reviews this year. Due to your reviews I have purchased a CZ457 in 17HMR as well as a Pard ds50rf. Both excellent for what they do. Currently looking at a Sako S20 or 90 or Tikka T3. Now will have to wait for your ‘new’ competitor review 😂. Still deciding on 6.5CM, 308 , 7remmag or wait for 7PRC in sako/tikka. Any more calibre reviews for hunting would be appreciated. As retired military I enjoy your straight forward approach. Look forward to more reviews. Thanks mate.
I own sako 75 85 and 20 from 243 up to 300 win they all shoot 1/2 and better depending on my day. But none of them like hot loads they wont hit a sheet of plywood . Cheers from the Okanagan British Columbia Canada
@ i'm indifferent to be honest, i'm not bothered or excited by expensive rifles, I like minimalist simple rifles because I shoot nearly every day and don't have any need to have great pride in them for anything more than being a reliable and functional tool which I why I like Sauer 100's
@@chrisparkin431 The 100´s a good tool. Since you were testing Sako 90, it seemed the closest was the Sauer 505. Its not about pride or flashing this or that. I asked from a technical standpoint.
@ they all do the same job, the sauer 505 has interchangeable barrels, the sako a better mag than the 505 but the 100 has the best mag of them all so..... like I said, you have to choose and I can have 3 Sauer 100's for the price of a 505. Please realise a lot of switch barrel rifles are made to satisfy some legal factors and travel case size but then also use expensive mounts and since the chances are different calibres/barrels may well require different optics......what's the point? Unless you want to have the most expensive rifle that will perform no better in a real hunting situation? Don't take it personally, I'm just stating facts
Great video and now having to save up for new “investment “. Off topic, for a budget of £1500 what scope would you recommend for stalking? I’m looking at a GPO 3-15x56i and Steiner 3-24x56i at the moment.
t3x have the modding factor on its side and cost is way less. t1x .17hmr is better than tha sako quad .17. i think that sako brand is overpriced a bit.
Good Afternoon Chris, I hope your well and good, many thanks for the great content produced this year. Look forward to future videos How did you find the HQS hunter sound moderator? As good as DPT or Wildcat Evo Very few people have reviewed them
The HQS was comfortable to shoot but it's tricky to compare two mods unless they are both same thread on same rifle. I have lots of options with Wildcat and DPT mods so use them on more rifles anyway
Wow!! A very great review and video presentation my friend!! Greetings from Arizona in the USA. You are obviously quite knowledgeable and familiar with bolt guns and a great shot. Would you happen to know if this rifle is available in either a .223/.556 or a .243 Winchester? I really appreciate the quality reviews you produce as I'm doing my homework for a nice varmit rifle in a flat shooting and readily available cartridge for coyotes and whatnot. A bolt rifle to fill the gap if you will between my .22 Lr bolt and my .30-06,,, I've not visited Sako's website yet. I've heard that they make outstanding rifles. Thank you for your great videos and please keep up the great work!! Very kind regards, 😎👍🦌🫎
I have the 85, never shot a 90, but I think sako are the best production hunting rifle available
I always find your reviews detailed, sensible and informative. Excellent stuff.

Sako powerhead blades are superb ammo. i use handloads with that bullet on my tikka t3x's in 6.5 creedmoor and they are very accurate.
I have a Sako 85 300Win and a Sako 85 Varmint 204. Both shoot great.
I would like to get a 90 Quest in 6.5PRC but they don't make them. Only the S20.
@@rksando1 probably just a matter of time until they do

Nice one Chris might have to trade in the S20 once there’s more tin in the bin, Happy New Year and thanks for the channel 👍.
Hello.
What’s the sige of the rings? Do you Think MDT ELITE in medium Will do. They are 1 .00 inch tall?
Hey Chris, great review. Which do you like better, the sako 90 Peak or the Adventure?
Same mechanics, different stock
So, this Sako 90 or a Sauer 505...which would you choose?
