Went yesterday. The world’s gone mad when one stand can’t sell smoke for airsoft as it’s explosive and could cause a risk for attendees, yet another has a queue for machetes. Rant over.
@thedalesrabbitcontroller5265 I have never had a problem with mine I've had multiple people all over 200lbs sitting on them river side salmon fishing on uneven sandy rocky ground and there is nothing wrong with mine but it's not a rocking chair either it's not built for that
Nice to see you get this shot show film out so quick! Showed a lot of great guns. Looks like everybody is going synthetic. I still love my walnut hunting rifles. Very cool!!
I myself love my mk38 American walnut shotgun but I’d only ever have synthetic rifles as I stalk in Scotland and there’s just no advantage to having a wooden stock in bad weather
Was there yesterday walked past you just after it opened but you were chatting so didn't want to interupt.. Thouthe stop was great. Meant to call back around and get one before I left but got sidetracked in buying a new gun and forgot about the stool.. Some really good looking guns at some eye watering prices
All I can notice is how quiet it is I heard today was also not very busy and wasn’t a lot there and in a smaller hall . The BSS seams to be dying year by year
I'm a big fan of Ruger and their barrels, but that sloping grip is a deal breaker for me. I'll probably buy a Bergara with its vertical pistol grip instead.
Nice reviews there Chris, I have to say I also came yesterday and was bitterly disappointed with the show. If you wanted thermal or optics great, you were practically waist deep. The stands had been so spread out to make It look like there was alot there with big walk ways and a huge perimeter gap. All of It would have fitted into a 1/4 of that hall, which is a real shame as last time I went , pre covid, it was spread over TWO halls. Practically no ammo deals , no hides, or decoys, so, so many trade stands simply not there, I don't know if it was a lack of interest, or possibly the stands/NEC charging to much per stand ??? I was really looking forward to this, took the day off, and drove two and a half hours from deepest, darkest Wiltshire. Wish I hadn't bothered 😒 Also the overwhelming chat on the bus back to the car (at dinner time, which is when I left) was basically how crap it was and how small it was, Nec, note to self, must do better. 🤔
Are lever actions not popular or not allowed in the UK? Lever action rifles are becoming hard to find in Australia due to being sold out everywhere. I am after a Marlin laminate stock stainless lever in 357 Magnum or will wait for Smith & Wesson to hopefully release the 357 Magnum version of the new 44 Magnum lever in the next 6 months. Rossi has released a new 30-30 and 45-70 but they are not rounds you want to plink with even if reloading. Wish they switch the 357 magnum/38 Special, 44 Magnum and 45 colt over from the 92 action (that I have) to the new R95 action.
The only people who have lever guns here do specific level shooting sports like Cowboy Action. I have a Marlin in 44 mag for that. Otherwise, we rarely need the capacity, and they're not generally as accurate as folk want for deer stalking, nor do they usually generate sufficient legal muzzle energy (the pistol calibre ones).
Idk I feel like pricing has gone insane. Over 6k for that 505? I've been looking at the sako peak but it's hard to justify. I can just buy a carbon Fibre Stock and drop a tikka in it and get the same, essentially, for less than half... Hmmm
Be cheaper to buy 3d printer and make your owne but there will be idiots that will pay £500 quid for a plastic case that will cost no more than £100 at most to produce 😅
Of course we have all sorts and calibre's of guns ,what we don't have is a government that allows citizens to own and carry as in America .Our firearms laws are very Draconian and strictly controlled 😮
The show has been on the decline for years now, I visited this year and was not impressed at all the usuel sets are there same stands as the last 3 years nothing really new just 3 or 4 new stands of europian scopes. The show use to be companies been intrested in the uk market but now its a joke show! I strongly advice to visit the National Shooting Show instead. Cheaper and better!

Not the world..just the 12ftlb UK.
🔥🔥🔥🔥Looking forward to see the testing with some of these rifles
Great video Chris.. Nice to see what happening over at the show. 👍
Awesome video Chris
Felt like I was actually there you explained every innovation you came across
Looks great Chris. Looking forward to wandering around tomorrow... hopefully bump into you 👍🏻
I visited the show, I really like the way you presented products.
In the US Bergara put the XLR magnesium chassis on a couple of the premium actions. Doesn’t seem they do that here.
that liittle seat has been around for years now. ive had 1 in the states for 3 yrs now awesome for fishing or hunting
Theyre garbage, i bought 4 and they've all broken, no good when leaning to one side on them

Cheers Chris for all the stuff I missed

Your videos r fantastic keep up the good work
Thank you
I'm no lightweight ? You are not kidding ..
There is plenty of movement vertically and laterally in the ATA folding stock, great idea but all over the place.
Sad we didn’t see more clips of the new Blaser K95. Did you get your hands on them Chris?
Hi, thank you for the report. Did you see anything new from ZEISS?
I love shot show, but do you know how to tell a British shooter from an American shooter? The British shooter still has his hearing 😅
Is there much air rifle bits for sale?
Had one of those portable collapsable seats last year…lasted two trips out, fell apart and ended up in the bin.
Do you weigh more than 24 stone ? 😂
@@dominicjohnson8427 Thankfully not...
Plz mention prices ...

Nice vid, no Browning? Like the new x bolt 2 carbon barrel one.

What about long barrel pistols and revolvers? We all know about the rifles! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏴🇮🇱💪👍

Not massively popular in the Uk no

Air guns and popguns.
Whatever takes your fancy, i concentrate on my core market as time is limited
Let's all look at air rifles and sxs shotguns. It's the British staple.
Rifles are my 'thing' though 😉

What medium to large game can a working man hunt in the UK.
@@desjustdes939 Red Stags are as big as you will get in the UK if size is all that matters to you

Good coverage but your camera operator needs to slow his pans down ,way too fast.
Perhaps so but please consider there are people all over the place bumping into you and you have to do things fast in a live environment
UK can't have normal airguns. So why a shooting show.
Oh yes we can !!!
Iam surprised u guys have gun shows ,annthat u actually have guns there ,I was just pitching just printed version of the, no real guns
Of course we have all sorts and calibre's of guns ,what we don't have is a government that allows citizens to own and carry as in America .Our firearms laws are very Draconian and strictly controlled 😮
Interesting video but the filming made me feel nauseous

Incline or do you mean decline?. Incline is on it's way up. Decline means on it's way down.
Maybe I am old fashioned, but plastic stocks are not for me, I prefer real wood stocks.
