Hi Dan! Long time no see!! Great video and awesome rifle. Very well done my friend. It's great to see you putting out quality videos on FT. Keep up the good work. It's great to see a top shooter putting out good information. All the best from the USA! 👍 👊🏼
Thank you. The rods from the back of the alutech to the Gemini base plate are genuine Anschutz parts - the extra long (110mm?) The extra 'wing' extensions on.the Gemini are, again, genuine parts; ive tried aftermarket parts but as its only a friction fit, they usually cant take the weight/tension, and end up slipping.
Thanks. Im learning a few more editing tricks with each vid, so hopefully that makes em a bit more immersive - especially at 26mins! 😆 Thanks for watching.
I enjoyed that one even more than the range bag. Thank you. Fantastic rifle. What windicator and windication fluff are you using please? spent the whole video hoping to find out :)
Hi Mark, sorry, I totally forgot that! LOL. TBH Ive just gone with a cable tie with a hole drilled in it and a bit of chenille - it doesn't get heavy when wet like wool would. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Brilliant video and I'd love to use a setup like this for FT. In the US we are allowed up to 20 ft/lbs which makes it a bit easier. Can you share details about the upper half of the butt hook that slides over your shoulder, Can't find anything like it on the Gemini website.
Hi Mark, maybe they dont make that model anymore? The links are all genuine Gemini parts. That set up - or similar - is very common in the uk - although some would say the amount of links I have is extreme?😆
Mine is 1/4 MOA. The difference between 1/4MOA and 1/8 MOA at 50 yards is roughly 1.5mm. I dont know about you but I definitely wobble more than 1.5mm! 🤣 So in practice I dont really think it makes a difference. Although sometimes, on those 'in between' ranges, I do think it'd be nice.
Good video. I assume you range at 50x, what magnification do you shoot at? I was shooting at 50x for everything but the positionals but I have started having more success shooting at 20x. I'm shooting a springer, so shooting at 20x gives me the added benefit of seeing the pellet in flight. This is with a Falcon T50.
@@theinsideedge0707 If you get that amount of pleasure from it then it is worth it, but if it is on an FAC would you not be better off with rimfire LR? Either way it is seriously impressive.

Hi Harold 👋🏻 I hope you're well.
Thank you, I appreciate that and will do! 😊
I will say your rifle is stunning. I've been shooting FT for years just as a hobby. And i will say its one of the nicest ive ever seen 😎🔫🤙🏽
Thank you Sir! ☺️
There are some lovely pieces of kit on the cicuit and no two alike, which i think makes FT pretty unique 👍🏻
Thanks! for charing your knowledge. That is a lot of work you have been putting in to that gun. Its a beaty, well done.
A really good informative video. Looking forward to the next one. Well done Dan. 👌
great video try a march majesta they don't budge . who made the extender rods on the gemini ?
Thank you.

Great vid Dan! Appreciate the work that goes into making something like this!
Thanks mate 😊
The beard to be feared. Nice video Dan keep it up mate
The anschutz has an amazing trigger. I love shooting my 9015.
Im running the 4k in mine now from the 9015. So crisp mate 👌🏼
@@theinsideedge0707 Is it noticably different from a 2002....... which I know you shot for many years?
@@theinsideedge0707 It will be interesting to see how the LG400FT compares once Nick Murphy has worked his magic on it.
Another great video 😎

I have a Hawke sidewinder ED 10-50x60. Im very tempted to get a sitron
The Hawke's are decent glass for the money but a Sightron or similar would be a step up in class when it comes to rangefinding imho.
@theinsideedge0707 ah right ok, so on my ED its 1/4 MOA i see alot of people running 1/8 MOA in FT. Do you have any experience shooting 1/8 MOA
Mine is 1/4 MOA.

@theinsideedge0707 Ok cool, right might have a look on optic warehouse 🔫😎. Thanks for that info
So I've been trying to get my hands on an S3 10-50x60 it seems like their is none in the uk for sale at the minute
All I ever hear is barrel bands- barrel bands; you can't beat a FREE FLOATING barrel for accuracy.
Keith Allen was the first to put a transfer port on the 2002 Shutz Dan .

Hi Scott. Thanks. Yes, I range in 50 mag, then mag down to 30 for everything. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
