he needed to have a lot of anger and rage when doing this great song. Dave did it good. but there's songs that you need to have the feeling of the meaning of the song. Pete Townshend was full of anger and rage when he wrote this. first line of the song really happened to Pete. one of the Sex Pistols dropped something in Pete's drink. policeman knew Pete Townshend. I think you get what I mean. am 65 years I saw the who 5 time's

for someone to cover this great great song. YOU NEED TO BE FULL OF REAL ANGER AND HATE FOR WHAT PETE TOWNSHEND IS TALKING ABOUT. THE VERY FIRST LINE OF THE SONG IS ABOUT ONE OF THE SEX PISTOLS DROPPING SOMETHING IN PETE'S DRINK AND HE WAS OUT OF IT. YOU KNOW FUCKED UP AND A POLICEMAN KNEW PETE. THAT'S SOMETHING THAT REALLY HAPPENED TO PETE. SO YOU HAVE TO BE FULL OF anger and rage like the way Roger does it and Pete is playing his guitar with the anger and rage like only Pete Townshend can and Keith moon beating the shit out of his drums as always. and John playing the greatest bass ever and looking at the other guys like what is happening he was always so laid back. but God dam his fingers never stopped playing his bass. THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME. 1 HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW AND NO ROCK BAND STILL WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PLAY LIKE THE WHO. SAW THE WHO 5 TIMES AND I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND SEE THEM AGAIN KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW. THAT I WAS WATCHING THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME. I KNEW THEY WERE GREAT BUT BEING 65 YEARS OLD NOW.
