Fire: The Primary Element of Transformation

The Fire Element in the Alchemical Tradition is said to be the most important force- for it is the primary Element of transformation.
The alchemists saw Fire as the terrestrial, or Earthly manifestation of the Sun, which is responsible for all changes and transformation in nature- from the turning of the seasons to the growth cycles of plants.
This innate transformational property of the Sun is contained within plants which is released as the heat and light of Fire, which is what is used in Alchemy to transform plants into spagyric medicines.
And because they are transformed in this way by the virtue of Fire, they hold within them this innate power of transformation when we ingest them.

As plants ruled by fire element, I thought of Hypericum definitely and also Rosmarinus and Inula helenium for their warming actions. I love so much those 3 plants !

I was born Feb 1st 1967 a chart with no fire... My Chinese sign is the Fire Horse though. Question is which one should I follow one I have no fire and the other a over abundance of fire the later I've heard is at a detrimental with fire element and the horse. I am experimenting with Valerian root alao.... Any advice for lack of fire is my chart. I did my chart no fire there....

How about nasturtiums? The flowers certainly are fiery, as is the spiciness of all aerial parts at least. And they spread like wildfire. However, they grow very well in moist, rich soil in an area with plenty of dew, as is the case where I live, and the leaves and very delicate stems certainly look very gentle.
