Pat really is genuine with his reactions to the players. No wonder that he's won awards for Best Game Show Host.
No kidding! "How did you solve that puzzle??"
Right on
He didn't do a dam thing. Just his normal boring fruity self
I know it’s his persona but I feel like he can be kind of a dick sometimes
Do you think that Pat Sajak was tipped off, before he opened the envelope? (As he didn’t look too surprised when he opened it up & saw that it was a million dollars)
On many other game shows, the host is in the dark, about the answers (so they can get the host’s playing along with the game) as in Steve Harvey in Family Feud, hosts of Password Plus etc.
Her reaction is priceless and the fact Pat pulls away to let the family celebrate is wonderful.
am I the only one who finds It funny when pat yelled WHAT!?
nope
With as few letters as she had, I would have yelled that too when she solved it!
Not at all! I would've had the same reaction.

Zachary Mogel you have q
I love Vanna's reaction. She's like "Girl yes! YES!"
She deserves a million for solving that hard one.
Seriously? hahahahaha
@@celiacaliso3578 she didn't get the full million she got roughly 60% and the other 40% went to the government pocket
@@MultiTurbospeed I mean $600,000 is still a LOT of money…
When I saw this the first time, I said, "That better be the million dollars."
Bruh who cares about the taxes. That's a free $600k, that can easily be invested to become over a million. @MultiTurbospeed
I still read “R.L. Stine” when they put up the free letters at the beginning.
Im glad Im not the only one
ME TOOO!!!
Holy shit, I didn't know there were others...
Those letters were actually picked in honor of the late children’s book author who was a dedicated fan of the show.
@@LetsMars This isnt true, the letters just happen to be the most commonly used/picked letters in the english alphabet which is why they are the ones that are the given ones.
Gotta love how Pat went "WHAT!?" after the puzzle was right.

Gotta love Pat Sajak

Perhaps Pat's last statement of "talk it out" triggered something in her head and "tough workout" sprung into focus. Kudos to you Autumn Erhard for winning!

Pat says "talk it out" to almost every contestant just before they start the 10 seconds for them to solve the bonus round puzzle.
I think you're right.
He also said "this looks challenging to me" - that helped her find the world Tough.
Here’s the prime example of the letters not being on the board actually helping to narrow down the puzzle
I don't know what's more incredible, a difficult solve turning into success, or winning the million dollars? That was well played, Autumn!
I love how Pat just announces the million dollar card like he's giving the state of the union
Thank goodness for the wildcard. She may not have won without it.
You ain't kkiding!
Geddo I totally agree with you thank God for the wild card and congrats on the million dollar win
Geddo
Geddo so true
on top of that, look at her spin... it was so fucking close to going to the next letter... the tiniest more umph in her spin wouldve sent it over... Talk about destiny
Epic solve. I tear up when someone experiences this kind of glee. Just wonderful.
Yep! She is the biggest winner and accumulated the highest gross earnings on the show, so amazing to still watch. :)
1:45 I've never heard Pat that high pitched!!😂😂
Me neither!!! 😂😂😂😂
WHAT?!😳
By far the best Million Dollar winner
You said it. :)
Kai Nalu . Because the puzzle was harder to solve than the other ones. I just watched the other million dollar winner vids lol
+Lord Jadus It Was Awesome The Million Dollar Wedge And Million Dollar Win & The Confetti & Streamers Was So Oh My Gosh
Best reaction was the first one though.

Happy 5 years of win 2nd million dollar winner! 2013-2018 Autumn
Oh he's really gonna go through with the wedding now.... LOL
Jack Joshua Brown n biscuits ?
LOL! I wonder how they are both doing.
Yep! Cold feet suddenly vanished!
BRIANd lol i know right
@Sundiata Keita married with 2 kids
The moment Pat pulled up that N card those executives backstage were shitting themselves
Dr. Steve Brute.......NAH.......as popular and as much of a money maker this show is....giving away $1million is peanuts. It's a tax write off anyways....and also very good for the show. Even if they gave away $1mil every week it still wouldn't hurt them, lol.
@@joanidavis2262 My understanding is that the show doesn't pay the winnings, nor does the network. They buy a type of "insurance," and the premium they pay is constant whether someone wins or not. It's the "insurance company" that pays the winners.
Contestant gave the wheel a strong spin ... to land on the million dollar card!! A Life Changed For The Better !!
@@seikibrian8641 Where did you get that information? That is just blatantly wrong. The only obstacle presented when receiving winnings is tax. That's it. They give them the money and insurance companies have nothing to do with it. And it's absurd to even suggest that an insurance company even gets involved. The money comes from some of the Ad revenue they receive. Which by the way is A LOT.
And as for the trips, when they win one, after the show they give the contestant an option to choose the cheapest trip available to said location. Again reasons for tax and to limit the amount of tax you have to pay.
@@mEHple_bEHcon Who said anything about an "obstacle"? Taxes have nothing to do with what I was talking about either. It is YOU who is "blatantly wrong."
That wild card saved the day!
Yeah it did!
Agreed
maybe
Maybe it was only one letter so she might of got it without it.
Charles Hicks the G eliminated a lot of possibilities. There aren’t many 5 letter words that start with T and have G as the fourth letter. Thigh is another one, but tough is one that fit and if she has the first word then she can make guesses on what would be tough. The G was critical.
When I watch this it makes me feel like I won something lol. You can’t help but smile at this.
I was surprised how many people just sat there clapping like zombies, I would have even so excited
She was the top winner in Wheel of fortune history.
Sadly she has to pay 50% in taxes. she only got $500,000
Well I did
Taxes aren't THAT high, Cade. I remember this one scratcher from the CA Lottery, where top prize was ACTUALLY 1 million. AFTER taxes. I read the back and it said the grand prize is actually $1,333,something.
Green Collar Drums taxes depends on what state you live in. fortunately, Texas has no state income tax. plus, at a national level, Texans pay up to 25%, so even if one kept $750k, it's much better than keeping $500k.
NO standing ovation for her that she so richly deserved? You got to be kidding me! If I was in the audience, I would have given her one. WOW! What an unforgettable WOF moment! Picking that "G" really helped her. Good for her!
Not as memorable as "I got a good feeling about this." But it's up there.
@@ericzubyk2329 That was another memorable moment in the show, for sure.
@@ericzubyk2329 lol but that moment didn't result in the kind of payday this did.
that. was amazingly awesome wasn't it
she did awesome
What? It's not TANGY PARFAIT?
The category was Thing, not Food and Drink!
Well, technically a "tangy parfait" is a thing! What now, beeyotch!?!
no a!
No N. No A. No P.

Underrated comment
She really deserved that win!!!
The audience is jealous. I can't believe they didn't give her the standing ovation. I would've.
+kornmaze Great point and I was wondering the same thing! I sure would have stood up and applauded her!
+Alexander “A.C.” Canatella She Is And They Haven't Got 1 Guy A Chance At Winning $1,000,000 On Wheel of Fortune
+Allan You would have initiated a ripple effect. If you had given her a standing ovation, the rest of the audience would have followed suit.
i was too tired to stand
One million dollars for jonathan Garcias bonus round on 1/12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pat's reaction to this was absolutely priceless at 1:45.
You got that right
@@marisatai1038 I can't believe it's been almost a decade since that memorable solve.
Holy crap, she's lucky. Had that wheel moved a millimeter or two more, she wouldn't have won it. Imagine what a heartbreak it would be to see the million dollar envelope on the space you just barely missed.
That has actually happened before.
MultiPurposeReviewer not to mention if she didn't have the wildcard she might not have got it either
In fact, one person landed on the million dollar envelope but failed to solve the puzzle, that was a huge heartbreak!
She also would have been screwed if she didn't pick a G.
dude its a 1 in 24 chance to land on it anyway. of course its incredibly lucky.
Best moment ever on the show. Totally deserves it
I agree 100%
She definitely deserved that million dollars
Yeah, especially for solving a puzzle like that.
Morghan Phillips yea she definitely deserved it. Must be soooo challenging :) Just as challenging as working 10 hours for $5 since age 12 to not die of starvation :) She deserved it.
I'm not jealous. I just think it's disgusting and unfair. Just like life can be sometimes.
Why do you think I struggle? :) I just said it's not fair that there are talented and smart people basically living in a shed and working 14 hours for 5 bucks a day just because they are unlucky and were born into poverty. Meanwhile other people get lucky, are born into rich families or get lucky and win big amounts of money. I consider myself a lucky person but that doesn't mean I can't get angry about the unfairness I see everywhere.
No problem :) My original comment can be misread easily indeed, sorry for that. I meant that many people who live for example in Africa work for a full day and get the amount of money "we" get for 10-20-30-60 minutes of work (where we watch youtube videos [guilty as charged] and check facebook). And it's weird to see that some of them are much happier than some of "us", "rich people".
10 years ago, Wheel of Fortune on RUclips!😍
And I won’t forget that moment from 2013 a.k.a. 10 years ago Wheel of Fortune on RUclips!😍
I get emotional watching people win, almost as if I were winning myself. Congrats to you!
That's because we are living vicariously through them.
1:57 YES!!!
Totally deserve a million dollars.. Talk about a tough workout for the brain to solve this puzzle
I see what you did there.
Seriously? Hahahaha
Well she made it look like an easy workout for her brain! She solved that answer in no time!!
I remember watching this with my grandmother when my oldest was just a baby.... It was an after dinnertime ritual since my mom was a kid in the 70s. I'd just gotten up to do something (idk what), heard my grandma holler 'OH MY GOD' and came speeding back into the room just in time to see the confetti start falling after Pat said she was a million dollar winner. My grandmother has been gone for almost 3 years now, but that will always be one of my favorite memories with her.
@@fable9159 she passed away in 2018 from a combination of long term health issues unfortunately. She would have been 81 this year.
I happen to be channel surfing when it was showing and caught this part of the game show. I couldn't believe she figured it out so fast and won the million. Excited for her and her family. Pretty awesome.
Autumn was the flower girl in my wedding 29 years ago :-)
Vet Tech Mom I was friends with her in elementary school. One of the nicest people ever.
@Amir Smith-Mr. Smith 222 Yes.
Oh yeah? Well I went to kindergarten with her 30 years ago! Beat that!
Mine too!!!
Lol! Love her answer to pats question "coz I work out?"

I’ve watched this before… still makes me cry!
This has got to be one of the most lackluster audiences in history. Million dollar win, and they are politely applauding in their seats.
Right???
Right? Lmao. They look bored AF!
Let's just say the audience is green with envy.
Ba dum tss.
The host said the amount of the win quite unenthusiastically
No no no they yelled
HOW did she think of that so fast?? Wow. I wouldn’t have. I bow down to her.
Wow! That Wild Card 'G' really paid off!
Dude that was actually 7 years ago from now because it is already 2020 and it's almost February pretty soon ❤❤❤❤ and I love it.
I love the lady's reaction when Pat revealed that she had won the Million.
Congrats Autumn! It's still worth watching seven years later. #WOF #MillionDollarWinner
Pat's expression was priceless.
Getting a hug from Vanna is even better than winning $1M.
Pats reaction, surprised. Her reaction, PRICELESS!
Congratulations 🎊🎉🎉🎉🎊👏👏👏👏👏
1:56... Put in theme from *BREAK THE BANK*, Stu Levin's tune to the mid-70s Tom-Kennedy-hosted game show.
Man, that was a big TV moment for this lady! Pat is a great host of this show, too!
Wow! That's a touchdown!
1:43 Tough Workout
1:45 WHAT???
1:56 We have a $1,000,000 winner!!
She figured it out and barely spun it perfectly. Wow she had skill
0:36 Dude that was almost one tick away from passing the Million.... that needle was hanging on
Glad to see Pat Sajak is alive and well. He one of the best game show host next to the late Alex Trebeck
Pat Sajak was the host of wheel of fortune when my granny was young. He was the host when she got old. Now that I’m old and he’s still the host lol 😳
I guess she "had a really good feeling about it"
I see other people haven't got it. Just thought I'd let you know someone did
Trayxxxx play game
ba dum tss.
As in the thumbnail?
Yeah I gotta admit that was funny with Pat's reaction with 2 t's,1 r and the letter g she picked from the wild card and she solved it pretty quick 'Tough Workout' but hearing Pat's reaction was priceless.
You know what you have to do to win that ? ....... 7 steps.
Hit the million wedge, guess a correct letter, solve that puzzle, never hit bankrupt during rest of show, win the most amount of money on the show, spin it to that exact placement of the million dollar card on the tiny wheel, and guess the final puzzle.
Niiiice ! ;-)
+TacomaPaul Not too difficult then (!)
And one more thing... you have to get on the show ! ;-)
I was so close in the 90s... got one call back for local 2nd audition. Then got a phone call (recorded)... "We have already chosen our 3 contestants. Thank you for.." etc etc.
Was fun though !
Oh bummer! Keep trying.
Then there's the after steps, paying taxes.
ryanm Oh No !!!
I have to pay taxes on a Million dollars.
So I only get around $600,000.
Well then forget it !
Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you. 30 Years Celebration Continues! Congratulations to myself 👍🤑🙂❤😘👩👧👧😍🇺🇸👩🎓👩👧👧🏘🏡🚘🇸🇱🇺🇸

I wonder, if I ever got on the show and got the mystery wedge, if Pat would let me keep it because that’s my dream wedge and would be the PERFECT souvenir for me.
Probably my second favorite game show of all time, right behind "$10,000 Pyramid". Man, that show used to really ratchet up the tension, and Dick Clark was great as the host.
Miracles do happen to good people in their lives !! Keep them Coming !!!
even easier for her to be able to have the wedding of her dreams!!! way to go girl😊😊
The last thing I'd waste money on is a wedding. Get married in your backyard with family & some friends and save the money for things that matter.
WHAT?! SO EPIC!
She was spot on...Not only did she not have much to work with but she won the million too wow...lucky!!!
I wants this program religiously and it gives me great joy when I see somebody win when the family members run on stage only in America🇺🇸
Autumn:(says letters)
Pat:Ohhhh geez
Autumn:Oh no😰
Pat:Ok this looks challenging you have 10 seconds...aaaand go
Autumn:Tough workout
Pat:WHAT!?😆I'm really impressed
Autumn:(what....)
Pat:Oh my god we have a million dollar winner
Autumn:OMG WHAT
Yay for another one million winner but seriously, that solve tho😆
Oh my goodness I don't know what it is, I NEVER used to cry. Now everything makes me cry - this woman getting a million dollars made me cry a bit at my desk at work. Congrats! I know this video is old but damn
congratulations on the wedding. That wild card definitely helped you out.
Most amazing solve in Wheel Of Fortune history and I will die on that hill! No comparison!
The shot of the audience was edited in. It was shot earlier in the show. It was not sequence correct. They were all standing and exuberantly cheering her on.
Great solve. teary eyed
That puzzle was " tough " but , in the end , she made it " workout " 😜
You just made me erupt with "loud laughter."
The awkward hug between Pat & parents. Epic :D
Great solve! For me, "BALCONY" still the toughest solve OAT given only (1) letter shown. 🔥
Her partner is so lucky ... his job is just to love her...y damn there are guys who are so lucky :)
I'm on a binge of watching people win a million dollars/ pounds on stuff! Its surprisingly satisfying
Autumn you hit the jackpot with 1 million Dollars!
The excitement in this video almost brings tears to my eyes!
wow 1M dollars with 7 seconds left. That CRAZY
For a Million-DOLLARS for a start. They get 5 Consonants and 1 Vowel to start off with is an R, S, T, L, N, and an E. Then Autumn picked an M for Mother, a P for Patricia, a C for Catherine, G for Grace because she has a Wildcard and an A for Anne. So that's the usual 3 Consonants and 1 Vowel rule, but that wildcard makes it 4 Consonants and 1 Vowel and then you have 10 Seconds to try and workout what the Catergory is. But the only thing that you have to do is that you have to choose your letters wisely because the cash amount and a Brand-New Car is hiding in plain sightings in one of these 24 envelopes.
Autumn, you've hit the jackpot! One million dollars!
The spin of the wheel was soooooo close to going to the next space.
We'll miss you, Pat Sajak!😥
I hope that your replacement host Ryan Seacrest will do the same thing just like you were doing, Pat Sajak, and enjoy your retirement after Season 41!😍
She deserved to win with a solve like that
This one is SICK. Look how close it was to going one spot past. Then just gets the one letter and nails it. bravo
NOW AUTUMN AND JOEY CAN PUT ON THE ULTIMATE WEDDING OF THEIR OWN.
And go on the altimate honey moon while they're at it. Find some hotel room and resort really expensive.
So needed to see this. Even though, this was 7 years ago, I enjoyed the uplifting feeling watching like it was happening now
2:30
how’d you solve that puzzle?
Lady: because I workout.
Lmao
Awesome! Wonder if they have to check the confetti machine daily
2:35 " Because I work out " !
That was pretty amazing.
- gets the $1M Space
- gets the Wild Card
- the wheel arrow was a *millimeter* from going to the next space
- guesses generally good letters, with an extra for the wild
- only gets ONE letter
- nails it
- had the $1M Card
Really remarkable.
I wish Charlie O’Donnell were here to see this.
And Autumn will forever be known as the queen of Wheel of Fortune!
You go girl! She earned it.
Lady: I'm a millionaire!!!!
Tax man: hold my beer
That's awesome I've always wanted to see that👍
Day before THE EL RENO TORNADO!!!
It’s weird that I’m getting emotional for a total stranger on tv haha good for her!!!
“How did you solve that puzzle”
“Cause I work out
