They got a new singer and guitarist, but the bassist and drummer are all still the same. Apparently the guitarist got high or drunk and was confusing notes, hence the frustration from all the other band mates. Recently, the drummer has died (drowned) and is confirmed. The bassist did a brief interview where he said the guitarist was drunk and suffering from heat exaustion (and even went to the hospital after). This is from 2007 at a festival the bassist had put together, the band was broken up but just got together for this one performance (lol).
We don't know the whole story. He may have been given plenty of chance to learn the stuff but just couldn't be bothered to, while everyone else practiced and learned their stuff
I feel sorry for the the whole band except the guitarist. Because they have no idea what it takes to be a true musician. They lack tolerance, are impulsive and insensitive. Guys if you are reading this please know that you might become successful, but you will never become musicians. It takes more than playing music. The guy with guitar has it, because he made mistakes and he took the beating from you. He knows where he is lacking unlike you. There is no way that you guys wouldn't have known about his poor skills during rehearsal. For sure u knew you are gambling with this guitarist, which is to say his making those mistakes shouldn't be a surprise to you. I really hope you get it back from some one in future when you make your mistakes. Cheers.

I play bass for newer genres of music, and I'm a musician on other instruments besides bass (5 of which are orchestral instruments). I know it would be stupid doing tapping and chords on a bass, but my point was that it would be harder to do.
