I really enjoy these lyric videos. They might not be the most original thing, but they're really well done. There's... something grounding about this music when you see it sung by seemingly everyday people. It's a really nice effect.
I also really love how they allow both sexes to sing the female/male vocals freely. It really goes to show the emotion of the actors, rather then focusing on who is really singing.
I dunno, this is long and rambly, but I really adore these videos. Not to sound cliche or over dramatic, but they really are beautiful in a way. Always look forward to them.

While I could be completely wrong, I feel the theme in all these lyric videos are that songs are just songs, but when they get someone to sing along so passionately, it feels like they're telling a story. Like we're being offered a glimpse into their life through this song. And with this one it's no different, but it feels like it's showing a silent following of like minded people. A gentle reminder you're not alone.
I just discovered that the actors are refugees. What a beautiful way to show support, and it opens a whole new meaning of the song to me.

Being the last song on the album, it took listening to the entire album to discover this gem of a tune. The ending is one of the most magical experiences in musical history. OMAM are simply magic.

Something is wonderful about this song, It shows all different people from all different backgrounds with all different stories but it teaches us that we should not judge and we are all the same, People judge way too much and I think OMAM teaches Respect and Peace through their music videos and their lyrics.

Finally! It had been so long, I was afraid you were going to make a video for all but my favorite song. :O
Such a beautiful and worthy video for the song that makes me cry every time I hear it.
When I read the email that they sent explaining about the new video it made my heartache and i became so emotional watching the video thinking about what each of those people must have gone through to escape their home countries and make it out alive. The lyrics "As we sink into the open sea" makes me think of all of the refugees that drowned at sea, the conditions they were forced into and the lack of empathy from most of the world. Thank you Of Monsters and Men for making such beautiful, meaningful music and videos.

Zain Chupacabra umm my analysis is the song represents them leaving their home, traveling far but they feel vulnerable. The open sea is their life . They feel like they're drowning. They have to keep going , they can't stop and rest at al . "Keep me in your clouded mind" represent how they want us (non refugees ) to think of them and understand the situation idk there more to it but I'm on mobile lol
