The incredible Judith Durham, who has captured the hearts of millions of people around the world due to her angelic and beautiful voice. She is always pitch perfect and her voice is as clear as a bell. She will never be forgotten as her singing has given so much pleasure to people who enjoy listening to music.
i listened to one of her interviews that she didnt think she was thin enough or pretty enough...and i personally after listening and watching her for the past 2 hours or so...she has an inner beauty..that not too many people have..and her singing ability is so effortless...its just so messmorizing to watch her...i am 70 years old..i remembered the group..but back when i was young..i suppose i had other interest..but at my age now..i just adore her..she is a fantastic lady..and singer.
This is a very pretty song. I've listened to Skeeter Davis' version for years and loved it, but Judith's version is a treat to my ears. I don't see how anyone could listen to the song and not remember at least one past romance gone bad. Judith paints a very beautiful and compelling picture.
Yet another stunning vocal interpretation of a classic 60's song, love the Skeeter Davis version but once again Judith puts her own indelible mark on this with her pitch perfect voice. Never fails to lift the spirit!!!
I'm 69 but had remembered "I'll Never Find Another You" from high school. I loved the song but it wasn't my kind of music or so I thought. Unless you saw these artists on the Ed Sullivan Show or American Bandstand, you had no idea what they looked like. I didn't know Judith's name or that she was that darling to look at. She just has a "way" about her that is too pleasant to not be known to a younger generation. I started sniffing around on RUclips and have become addicted to watching her the last ten days. I never thought I'd become entranced with a song like "Morningtown Ride", but I keep playing that and about 8 others over and over. That clear, honest voice rings out like no one else's. In this mean age we now live in where songs and movies are "hate mommy, kill daddy", demons, zombies, etc., I wonder if she/The Seekers might be willing to come back and re-introduce a kinder, gentler genre like this and see how it goes? Anyone have any thoughts? Meanwhile, consider reading 1 Timothy 3: 1-5 in the New Testament and see if this does not accurately describe what we are seeing all around us.
Cultural cross pollination between the different English speaking peoples was happening just fine when The Seekers went to England and Tom Springfield wrote their first two big hits. The process continued when an American named Paul Simon wrote Someday One Day for them in 66. This dynamic process would have shifted into higher gears had they toured the U.S. and Canada in 65 and 66. After hearing Judith Durham's voice and the splendid harmony and musicianship of the entire group, countless songwriters would have been inspired to write songs for The Seekers and songs for Judith's voice in particular. Their manager Eddie Jarrett was too UK-centric so no touring and mutual artistic cultivation took place in North America. A missed opportunity for sure.
Oh, wow...stunning and beautiful and so achingly sad. Judith really channels some very deeply embedded sadness for this lovely perfomance. I am honored by your inclusion of two of my concert snapshots. Lovely, lovely upload.
Love this. So different from the original of the 1960s, JD makes this song her own. I do like Susan Boyle, but I couldn't help thinking that her version of this song on her "I Dreamed A Dream" album was virtually a copy of JD's arrangement.

SENSATIONAL delivery, Judith makes everything she sings her own!
THE most beautiful voice ever!
I never realized how good she really was.
Judith's interpretation of this song is so perfect!

Over 18,000 hits and not dislikes. That's the way it should be!
End of the World, a long lasting legacy from Judith, beautifully delivered as usual.
Just beautiful. The pathos in Judith`s voice breaks my heart.

Beautiful voice.
crying my eyes out.. I miss you my love.
One of the rare singers that has the talent to put tons of emotion into any cover song. Because Judith is unique, she can make any song her own.
Happy Birthday, Judith !!!

Skeeter Davis, Agnetha Faltskog, Karen Carpenter -- all wonderful interpretations -- but nobody can touch Judith.
stunning

Did she record this because she related the song to her husband's death?
