For me "The Irishman" and "Joker" were among my top winners. But after watching "Jojo Rabbit" I knew that Taika Waititi has created a story that truly balances humor and drama.

Daniel Z-V joker isnt bad but is extremely overrated. The movie is decent and only edgy teens who have ever watched MCU movies think it’s a masterpiece and I even thought Joaquin was annoying at times in the film which didn’t even feel like a Joker film to begin with (they turned it into a Joker film because money). I still much prefer TDK trilogy and I would give Joker a 6 or at best a 7/10

Mateo Maher, not at all. I think Greta did an amazing job with structure. I think at first it was a bit distracting because I didn’t knew going in, but I think it’s rather unique telling the story that way. Rather than having the usual three act structure.

My 30 year old son put me onto Taika, and his comedic work, along time ago. Because of my Jewish background, and having relatives that died in the Holocaust, I said to my son, I am not watching it. He said, Mum, just watch it. I did. Jojo rabbit was a breath of fresh air, and not what thought it would be. Not Anti-semitic like I thought.
