I’m having SO much fun watching these videos of you altering this book! Thank you Gayle!🥰 I have Fibromyalgia & most days I have this internal struggle where by brain wants to craft but my body doesn’t. So watching videos like yours helps me fill that need while I rest.❤️

In same boat, it definitely helps me to watch craft videos. Sometimes it's to fill the hole of not crafting , and other times I've watched so much that it spurs me to do something x

Thank you for another beautiful day crafting with you! I love it! Your Pages are SO WONDERFUL! Sorry to hear about your daughter! It is a disease that is so heart wrenching for our loved ones! My now 21 year old grandson was diagnosed with it when he was 14 or 15. He has it at times under control but other times not. Was not able to enjoy his senior year of HS or go to college. They are hoping to find some training for him to pursue a career at home. Not what we had planned for him but he doesn’t complain and is a trooper for that. But what will his future behold? Sure hope and pray they can find meds or infusions for your daughter soon! ❤️

We have 20 acres and grow most of our vegetables and my husband and I love sitting under this group of trees between two pastures after a hard day of planting or weeding. Its always windy here and you can hear it coming through the trees its so peaceful. I keep asking for a large screen gazebo out there so I can just sit and do crafts when its nice out.
Really love all your collage work on this book the layering is really pretty.
Wishing you and your family many blessing. Hugs

I am so sorry to hear about your daughters chronic illness. It must be such a worry for you all. She sounds like a strong woman and is surrounded by such love and support which is such a blessing. I hope she starts to improve a little soon and can find a medication that she isn't allergic too. I hadn't even heard of an altered book until you started yours. Today I decided to finally give it a go. I had a book I picked up for a few pence I was just going to use for the pages so I decided that would work great as my first attempt. I'm not even sure how I will use it. It's going to be a perfect project to do in the evening while watching TV with the family. I am just using lots of bits of paper and scraps I have had for a while and doing lots of collage. I think I will have to try your strip page idea. What I am enjoying about making my first altered book is that I can just play and not worry to much as if it doesnt go to plan its not as if it really matters, it's only for me and the book wasn't anything particularly special in the first place. I really hope things improve for your family soon 💜

It is fun watching you and others collage and see how you approach it. Even when I take inspiration from others, I’m finding that the end result is unique to to me. You must find that to be true too. I hope your daughter is feeling better. Facing Crohn’s is such a challenge. Sending healing prayers.

When gluing two pages together in an altered book, close the book before the glue dries, press firmly from the spine to the edge. It will should prevent buckling. If you're worried about glue spreading put a piece of waxed paper before and behind the pages, glue, then close and press.

I have enjoyed this book so much. I’ve gotten a free lesson and I love those especially as a new 🐝. We are moving and my husband went through his old masters degree books and I’ve found two I would not allow him to get rid of them. As soon as the movers place my boxes I’m not even going to set up my crafting room I’m getting started. It’s been driving me crazy not crafting with you which is what I’ve been doing these past 3 months ! Thank you for all the thoughtful lessons laughs and talent you give to us. Prayers for your daughter and your family as chrones is such a horrific disease. I must learn how to download digital kits too. I’m lost. Yours are so beautiful I’ve been to your shop.

I've been a fan for a while, can't remember how long but definitely since last year. I love to relax and watch you craft whether or not I craft along. I'm more the silent type not because I'm deaf, normally I don't comment. But when you were cutting that peachy paper ribbon I thought, why not use pinking scissors to save yourself some trouble since the edge of the ribbon is similar? Love your journal making and embellishments, they are so unique and amazing! Hopefully someday I can buy some of your digital downloads or something and have fun with them. Much love from Maryland. Have a wonderful evening.

No such thing as a silly question! It is a journal like any other...the journal cards in the pockets are journaling space and I’ve created other journaling spots that you’ll see in upcoming videos. It’s almost like the collage pages are the “scrapbook papers” or “digital papers” that decorate other journals. ❤️
