It was very well written. She slowly devolved from being insecure, to desperate to evil. We saw how conflicted she was in the beginning starting with her hiding John’s letter to Marlena back when John was locked up for Andre/Tony’s murder. Then Stefano slowly began to influence her to do more and more things she slowly began to loose her conscience and justified her actions using her love for John. When she officially started hating Marlena then she had all the motivation she needed to just be straight up evil. Sami’s devolution to evil was well written as well.
Not to mention the background music they used back then. I like the song they used at the end when Kristen screamed her head off and everyone looked at her like she was going nuts. Best cliffhanger ever! I wish they had cliffhangers like this nowadays. The writing was great back then thanks to the late James Reilly. They should use this song 🎵 nowadays. That would be interesting.
I agree. Eileen Davidson was the best actress to play Kristen. I am not impressed with Stacy Haiduk for this role. I wish Days was good nowadays like it was back in the 90s and 2000s. It started going down hill in the 2010s. Even the background music was good back then then it is now.
