Open and A-block to the 10pm newscast from the Nexstar-owned Fox affiliate in the Hampton Roads, Virginia market including Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, Suffolk, and Chesapeake. Commercials are included.
Starting with the 4pm newscast earlier on sister station WAVY, the station launched new graphics for the first time in a decade of using its LIN-era graphics done by Rey Rodriguez (who freelances under the name "Linear Drift"). Also with the change is a new set to come along.
The new graphics (which I can assume is an in-house design by the way) is somehow giving me Gray Graphics Hub vibes. There are some stuff that I find wrong with the new graphics; for instance, the "NEW INFORMATION" bump where you see the Gotham "R" and "A" are not set properly. There's also a bit of kerning problem with the text on the talent rejoins, particularly the "V" and Y". The graphics also reminds me of the old CBS O&O look from 2016 to 2022/23.
Music is STILL Newswire V3 (of which the package itself is already 3 decades old) and voiceover is still Erik Thompson.
