Where is help from the president? They punishing Texas for supporting Trump?
President Biden has sent at least 60 generators. The last I read, these generators are sitting idle in or near Fort Worth. Does Biden have to hook up the generators himself, or can Texan leadership get on the ball and use these things? Christ Almighty, Republican leadership has turned Texas into 3rd World failed state.
Vote out the incompetent Republican Party next year!
This shows we should stop paying taxes and use that extra money to take care ourselves. The government doesn't care if it's not effecting them. If we all come together we can take care ourselves instead of just waiting for answers.
In the Midwest, this would have been a mild day to celebrate for.
It would be a warmer trend from their average temperatures. They would have never lost power in Michigan or Minnesota.
@@garimaheath meg, -24 yesterday morning and -19 this morn in northern Michigan. Actual temp.
The obvious conclusion is that renewable energy alone cannot meet our enormous energy needs, and no amount of populist spin can change that fact.
Cell phones can be charged by some models of bluetooth speakers. Those speakers need to have a USB jack on them (usually on the rear panel) for this to work. Not to mention the speaker needs to be previously charged.
Are you pretending to be smart?
Thing is its all over Texas. The panhandle can probably handle this weather. Its not uncommon. But for christs sake theres even snow in El Paso! And Houston. Imagine living in a humid, semi-tropical swamp and a snow/ice storm hits for a few days. How prepared would you be? Although Dallas should be more prepared they get ice storms almost every year
How come people in Norway or Finland don't have the same problem during the winter? First world vs 3rd world? OK got it.
Norway or Finland population is not comparable to US.
No it might not but they have better management and equipment . Which is sad . Where here there hugging money for them selfs. Then for the people
They pay taxes and have regulations, Texans have decided they're all individuals and not a society so I imagine they have their own Deisel generators so this isn't a problem. Clearly fake news.
@@klppdc Has nothing to do with population.
I pray lord you will protect every child send your angels to keep them warm and fed amen!!!!
I think the problem is the Texas leaders.

Drinking water can be delivery by truck tankers for temporary supply.
Please don't get the truckers involved with this. We always get blamed for all the wrecked cars. My truck are not moving until it's all over.
Marek Kolenda
... that sounds easy till you see how fast water freezes when it's 30 degrees below freezing.... or how to get water out of that pipe that's already frozen. There's a LOT of problems associated with trucking water in the cold weather.
@M Jazz ... while some of this is possible it's not practical for any length of time. You also have the issue of sanitation without running water. Once the toilet is frozen, where do you go with waste? BTW, what's the chances they build a home in the south with a fireplace?
@Carol Young price inflation and currency devalues.
@Carol Young Makes not any difference dry road and ice or snow road is total difference driving conditions
I feel so bad for these people. It isn't fair that people are freezing to death. Every state's DPW, utilities and politicians should always have emergency plans ready to go.
The weather is Messin with Texas.
Tale as old as time itself
Jose Martinez Right in line with chy___nah announcing the increase of chem clouds a month or so ago.
No problem raising the price for our electric bills.
someone has to pay for it..........electricity ain't free................
I guess they didn’t cold soak these systems during testing.
10% for the big guy.
ERCOT bout to lose they job 🎵
Seriously tho....prayers up to Texas and surrounding areas.
This is inexcusable!! My prayers go out to you Texas. 💜
Oh that’s nothing our house inside was 3 degrees and 1 outside all pipes frozen and been off 2 days and they don’t know nothing on when will it will b on
all pipes frozen? Ridiculous. The State better pay for your repairs.
@Carol Young u know what if that’s the case don’t get the stimulus check then
Interesting how only half an inch to an inch of snow in Texas can cause massive power outages. Imagine 2 ft of snow like in NYC.
Dealing with the cold is enough.
It’s more ice than snow.
Pfft, 2 feet of snow - how about 5 or 6 feet and -40C in Canada - nothing really stops, it's not a big deal, it just takes a little longer to get around.
@@gorak9000 Ice here not so much snow. Our humidity level is different here as well. Have you ever lived in this area? If not then move along because you have no idea how dangerous it is for those of us that usually have mild winters! Our roads are all iced over, it’s not the snow that’s causing the issues.
Yeah. I imagine you guys also know how to winterize your homes and machinery, and treat/plow your roads. We just don't have the infrastructure, because the powers that be don't want the expense.
Your local NEWs agencies have to put out EBS messages for folks to create 'microclimates' inside homes by staying warm inside a camping tent set-up without the POWER. You guys are caught in a polar vortex. If you don't have a camping tent, Make a makeshift shelter with plastic tarps/ blankets in a tent-like formation. Praying for you guys!🙏🏽
What exactly is a polar vortex?
Unprepared and the classic excuse, "it will never happen here". Hindsight is 20/20.
I don't think the people that are really suffering have anything to do with that.
Greetings from El Paso Texas!🥶❄️❄️❄️❄️
We can thank the “green” power transfer to wind and solar energy which doesn’t work very well when the solar panels can’t get sunlight and the wind turbines can’t turn when they’re frozen
Green deal didn't pass?
@@gingerdoll it hasn’t to my knowledge but Texas uses “green” power sources which is what’s causing the issues Texas is having
If Trump was still president everyone would go crazy on him, but since it's Biden not a peep of blame.
Where is Ted Cruz at? People are dying in their homes
If trump was in office people would blame him for not taking action right away.
Oh yeah and he made the snow too!😂
The thing is, he'd still be talking about it, but only as if it wasn't a big deal. Probably throw in something sarcastic about "global warming".
Texas I feel sorry for you folks try to stay safe and warm. Other states are keeping you in a prayer chain. West Virginia is praying for you.
I heard the ghost of Past President John F. Kennedy made a snow angel on the grassy knoll in Dallas.
Why dont they deploy the army core engineers to help when its been declared a national emergency? C'mon haven't heard a squeak from Washington. Action now
Texas does not want. Watch Abbott.
Texas can handle it themselves, they wanted to secede after all.
Biden already declared a emergency.
@@nealb182 thank you 🙏🏼 Lord for another great awakening! Honestly.🤗
But yet they push Electric Vehicles.
Can you imagine owning a tesla when something like this happens? I'll stick with my combustion engine thanks. Would hate to be stuck cause my car has no electricity to charge.
-2 in Dallas?!!
Lubbock was -8 yesterday!
My heart is hurting for our Texan Americans.
I have a solution instead of them apologizing and giving us lame reasons why we have outages

Can't wait till gas gets to 6 bucks a gallon... I mentioned that to a coworker I had (before got laid off) who voted for K. Harris.. Her response, not a problem, she will have a job which will enable her to afford it.

Truly Texas can get ercot eliminated and get someone power companies in there that can do the job. It is all about money and greed. Prayer to all the people who are suffering down there.

Where is Ted Cruz now?
What does that have to do with getting the power turned back on?
@@philliprogers4255 Y'all be mentioning Biden and the green deal.🤦
I don't have lights in my house but a car just drove by and it had lights so that's an encouraging sign that they are getting the power restored.

It's one of Biden's electric cars.
