- In this video I'm sharing how I make my removable wristlet straps using swivel clips and rivets. The wristlet strap I'm making is a 1/2" wide wristlet strap.

Chris, I have a Juki 1181n industrial, can you tell me what sort of thread & needles you use in your industrial and where you get it too please if you don't mind,
Hi Shaz, I used industrial needles for my machine and have several sizes. I mainly use size 16 or 18 and depending on the thickness of the thread and/or the materials I am using. In this video I’m using a size 16 needle with a bonded thread tex weight 80. The larger the needle the bigger the hole. Also the thicker a thread can also require a bigger needle. If you tend to find your thread is shredding it’s usually a good indication that a bigger needle might be needed. I also tend to buy leather needles mainly and find they work great when sewing either leather or vinyl. I’m always happy to share so please do feel free to ask any questions you may have when watching any of my videos.
