My friends, today, we're going back to Texas for the long-awaited return of the Fort Worth Zoo. We went to Texas Wild, the African Savanna and Elephant Springs, and our next stop is Predators of Asia and Africa! We'll see our first lion cub, along with tigers, pygmy falcons, cheetahs, Storm's stork, birds of paradise, hornbills and even painted dogs. But we'll also see our first striped hyena and African leopards, which loved to attack pumpkins when I saw them. Enjoy!

My favorite experience with a big cat at a zoo was in 2020 when Indah the Sumatran Tiger at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo was leaping up at the elevated glass viewing.

And to answer your question, my favorite experience with big cats has to be the Siberian Tiger at the Bronx Zoo’s Tiger Mountain.
That tiger was honestly the most gorgeous looking big cat and I was surprised to see it enter in the pool of it’s habitat!
