- The F-35 is already too modern and perfect for me, and I probably would never have bought the model if it was not built by Tamiya. The Japanese manufacturer is the absolute top among the manufacturers of plastic models and each of its new products always surprises with brilliant design and perfect production.
Lightning II did not disappoint either. The kit is perfect. There is no problem with using Eduard accessories and it is up to you which ones you choose.

Zrovna vcera som si hovoril kedy pridate nove video a dnes rano to prislo :) Uzasna praca ako vzdy, o tom niet pochyb. Zaroven ocenujem, ze na sacaky, sachty a podvozkove nohy pouzivate bielu FS17875 (insignia white), teda odtien, aky je na skutocnom lietadle. 99% modelarov na to pouziva snehobielu, avsak cista biela vo vzorkovniku americkych lietadiel neexistuje. Takze super.
Excellent build and technique, the remove before flight tags and wheel chicks very creative. Its incredible that the kit is actually better than the performance of the real aircraft :-) You are indeed a master builder.

Very nice build! The painting looks especially painful but did a great job. I like your treatment to the jet exhaust nozzle. Lastly, I appreciate your video production, which can be almost as involved as making the model!

Very nice - those early RAM coating masks must be fun. :-) But way better than doing it without them or use the Tamiya decals for it.

Sir. Your build is next level. No doubt about it. But you have chosen a RAAF decal set. You will notice the fairing hump between the vertical stabs at the back? That is for a breaking parachute. The only airforce that uses this modification is the Royal Norwegian Air Force. Sorry for the extreme nerdiness.

Still. It might become standard on more F35s in the future.
And the standard of work you did to rectify it was super impressive. I loved watching this.

Outstanding repair, especially with the paint. Idk if you kept a small sample from the first batch to match but it looked identical.

this is simply amazing bro...1 question , though, what kind of glue were you using to put on the Eduard space decals?
Thank you all for your feedback. I didn't use any glue, they are decals. It is worked with in the same way as with decals with the help of Mr. Setter or another preparation for decals.
Before you add another coat of paint or add decals, do you apply a top coat?

Tak já zopakuji, co už tu napsali jiní. Na Vaše videa se člověk jednoduše těší a jen si říká, co a kdy to bude.. On z toho číší takovej klid. Vy nikam nechvátáte, hrajete si s tím od vystřihnutí z rámečku až po finální patinu a výsledek je jak skutečný letadlo. Byť není předloha můj šálek kávy, tak dávám palec hore za zpracování modelu, videa, ale hlavně chuti tomu všemu věnovat čas a podělit se s ostatními. Vzhledem k množství použitých doplňků bych se nedivil, kdyby se model objevil v eduardím buletinu.
Mno, a kdyby jste měl v hledáčku nějakého Trenéra od Eduardu, třeba s otevřeným krytem motoru, tak se radost znásobí. :)
Moc děkuji za chválu. Něco se ze stavby už objevilo na eduardím FB. Na Trenéra snad také dojde...

Love the build, only point is why would the “ceiling” part of the bomb bay accumulate fluid build up? If anything, any leaks would simply drip down onto the closed doors. You’re not the only one, others do the exact same thing and I just feel like it’s a shame to go to the extraordinary detail that you have, to slip up by overweathering it in places, for the bomb bay to accumulate fluid build up like that the plane would have to be permanently upside down.

Awesome build. I didnt know Eduard made paint mask using black latex like Montex. I got the DN Models mask for this kit, hope it doesnt suck. Looks like this is an amazing kit. ❤
And now im kinda scared to start making my f35. It will never look so good ;/
Fantastic build as always! The plane was not my cup of tea but after Tamiya released it I knew I have to build one someday. Looking forward to your Tomcat build!

I don’t understand where kit manufacturers get their colour schemes from. I saw probably four F-35As at the Australian International Airshow this year and it just didn’t look like that. It seemed to be almost entirely a dark blue grey. The one I saw doing the display was A35-43. The photos I took show the surface detail to be massively overdone but I think most people are aware of this.

Most kits have the original paint scheme listed but later airframes have been painted in an all over grey colour as you saw at Avalon
@@thekunninglinguist2397 Okay, cheers. I haven't really kept up with it that much. I presume that's going to need a different -decal- masking sheet for the various panel highlights because they are not the same. I did notice that the radome is a slightly different colour from the rest of the aircraft.
Sweet build. I like Tamiya as well as Kittyhawk & Italeris,' but still no variants on their landing gear positioning. These crafts were made to fly. The F-35 was made to float & fly. Why is there never any way to showcase their gears in flight positions, just flaps?

This was such a good video. The photography is excellent and the music was very chilled out and perfect for the video. Also, of course, a really interesting look into such a detailed kit.
Great build as always! Just a quick correction: 3D printed parts are not polyurethane, but a different type of UV-curing resin.
Japanese engineering always blows me away every time
