    Love your channel love your technique. I make mittens for a holiday hat and mitten drive every year. I love these mittens. The thumb can be tricky. This really helps.
    Your voice reminds me of a machine knitter you tuber named Susie. I miss her

    When I do my thumb regular hand knitting I do a I cord thumb I bring the working yarn to back so it has ladders on the back so when I attach the thumb I use a crochet hook and pick up the bars to attach the thumb to mitt.I top to close.I was thinking if can make the thumb on the machine and drop the second stitch and 2nd to last I will have the bars and would be easy to join

    I did 28 rows of pattern and it ended up very very long - what did I do wrong?
