You say normal hip capsule thickness is 2-3mm but Ive heard number of up to 7mm being regarded as normal. Thougts on this anyone?

One layer of the anterior capsule is 2-3mm - for example directly over the articular cartilage at the femoral head. At the level distal to the femoral head and down the neck the capsule is folded over itself so there is a posterior and anterior portion to the capsule. This results in us adding the layers of the anterior and posterior aspect of the capsule plus any intra-articular fluid together to get our 6-7mm.

Pls help my groin has snapped since 22 I’m 44 I’ve been to at least 200 drs. My period did make it worse but it had nothing to do with it even after hysterectomy it still hurts. My groin has snapping 50 times a day since 22 I have a huge lump on groin and hip that gets worse with any activity. I am mostly bedridden 21 hrs a day cause pain is so bad I don’t know what to do. I don’t understand why drs don’t listen to patients my whole life wasted. It has ruined me and even my families lives I don’t know what to do I’ve become suicidal at times. I can barely walk anymore how can drs in America leave ppl like this. I also get sweats, low grade fevers when it’s at its worst after I’ve walked or done too much activity. If these drs had just helped me remove the snapping quickly I would have the severe what I think is Ililopsosa bursitis. My groij and hip burn like fire so bad opioids barely touch the pain. I don’t know how much longer I can hang on but I have a daughter I can’t give up but I’m barely hanging on. I’ve had drs tell me many ppls hips snap not a big deal leaving me to waste a😂at and die slowly of pain in a bed. Pls tell me why so many orthopedic drs don’t care and can’t read images. Every orthopedic dr/orthopedic sports Dr I’ve been to first thing they say is PT/injections not first being thorough in trying to diagnose they don’t f care. I’ve been crippled since 22 from this now 44 this should be a crime. Is it possible for all this not to show on a MRI or ultrasound or is it the ppl reading my results aren’t trained enough. My groin snaps when I squeeze my knees together, close my leg inward, bring it up into my stomach or press my foot into side of my bed. I have a huge pain burning inflamed lump on my groin that expands to my hip when very irritated but they say they see nothing. I feel either my problem isn’t showing on images or ultrasound or the drs aren’t trained enough to look the way you are explaining here pls help my life depends on it. 😢🙏🏼
