The crazy thing is when killing a nobody there’s a chance that v will turn around and then come back to kill it showing more of his Vergil adapted traits
Fun little side note, if you keep catching Vergil and pull off a DT grab or a charged Buster arm grab while Vergil is down, Nero will have a chance to say, "I'm tossing you around like a ragdoll." There's a very small chance for Vergil to reply, "I expect nothing less from 'my' kin." I've never heard it though. You can also get Vergil to admit to a tie with Dante during the credit fights but he'll shrug it off and swear to not lose next time.
Another rare dialogue (I think) is one of Vergil taunt. He put the Yamato down then say "I shall surpass Sparda". During my 30hr+ playing him he said that exactly ONCE, all other time he says "This shall be your grave"
@@LadyAsmodeushe has to be in devil trigger when the taunt is triggered for him to say that he will surpass Sparta, he puts down the force edge instead of the Yamato
A better way to do that would be to just summon 2 of V's familiars, and then look at his tattoos to see which demon is being represented. So if you want to see which tattoos represent Griffon, just summon Shadow and Nightmare.
yeah I didnt really explain in detail, but Shadow's markings are around his neck, and Griffon is on his upper arms, while Nightmare is occupying out the biggest chunks on the arms
@LadyAsmodeus I'm pretty sure nightmare is v's hair bc in the visions of v manga it shows v without his demon pets and his hair is white, also in the "diverging point v" mission v doesn't have any of his pets and his hair is white, and obviously when you summon nightmare v's hair turns white
Fun fact: in the game's code the walk back and turn around thing is actually considered to be a taunting animation, meaning if you were to mod the game you can make the playable version of Vergil do this as well.
I love "YOU WILL ACCEPT MY EXISTENCE!" so much, it's a line that lives rent free in my brain. I also think Nero has the best devil trigger form with the almost angelic appearance, makes me wonder if personalities affect how your devil trigger looks, and since Nero is basically like an avenging angel considering his story, it's incredibly fitting.
yeah Nero's angelic form is also what I've been pondering about recently, considering making a video explaining it :3 he is basically a good boy and desired to have wings so he can fly fast and protect his family when his devil form awakened~
@@LadyAsmodeusThat also makes me curious about the method Devil Trigger is awakened. With Dante and Vergil, they had the presence of demonic weapons to assist in their awakening. Nero on the other hand... His true DT awakening had no demonic weapons influence. DMC4 had Nero have a devil trigger, but it's utilizing the Yamato and is clearly incomplete. Makes me wonder if Sparda's descendants have a much more powerful awakening when experiences a very strong desire or emotion, Nero's case being saving Vergil and Dante from killing each other and avoiding a repeat of what happened to his other father figure, Credo.
You can also get Nero to say Jackpot by using Nero's buster arm on him after he's used Sin DT-- He'll try to make his doppelganger, and if you enter DT and grab one, you can grab them both to smash their heads together
even after four years, we're still finding details in this game. it truly is an epic game. capcom put their heart and soul into it, i just wish they realised it and made dmc6
some more fun stuff: - for Nero when Vergil is staggered, if youre in DT when you buster Vergil, (must be after he had summoned Doppel) he would duel grab Vergil and Doppel and slam them together, said "You dropped this!" or "Jackpot!" and there's a chance that he'd say "I'll toss you around like a rag doll." - Dante has some dialogues with Cavaliere Angelo hinting that is Trish. - Vergil's World of V move used to be V's move, it's called Kiss of Death. - idk if you count the hidden ends are rare stuff, but they're there. (Just beat Urizen in any of the scripted lost missions). - Nico also has some lines in the credit scene depending on your performance.
Nero: *Tries to trap Vergil in a mini-ragtime~* Vergil: *Shrugs mini-ragtime* "Look, Dante. He's mimicking a fraction of my power."~ Dante, lying around: "OUR power, brother. I can do that too."
in dmc3 vergil genuinely thought that dante was defeated, and so he walked away becuase he thought he was done. he came back when he heard dante moving again. he didn't "pretend" to walk away, he really was walking away
super cool video! especially the part with V's tatoos, even though i already knew that. note how when he summons nightmare his hair turns white. i've seen people say that it's because white is his natural hair color (because he's actually Vergil and everything) and that the black stuff is nightmare's 'substance'. i don't know if that's true, but it does make sense
@@LadyAsmodeus I also checked, and it turns out if you can get him to stagger in his devil trigger and buster him, the doppel will automatically come out even if it was dead.
Devil May Cry 5 is a giant love letter to us DMC fans and I adored every single minute of it. It has been added to my list of games I wish I could experience for the first time again. After all these years later fans are still finding little easter eggs like this and it's crazy! Thank you for vids like this, love to watch new discoveries of this game and that there are many fans still playing it. Great work!
yeah a lot of others saying that too, tho its not easy to get both of them knocked out and get the special animation where he smashes both of them, if thats how you get it~

Not exactly a "chance". since It will always happen when the nobody is using the green mask and is the last enemy remaining.
As well as v cane attack.V slap right Vergil slap left
I like Nero a lot. He's a mix of Vergil's seriousness and Dante's playfulness with a touch of his own anger issues.
so he is Vergil and Dante's son
