Thanks man! That was my original idea when I first started uploading stuff was to try and upload CDs/Records that weren’t on RUclips yet. Will definitely be uploading a lot more in the coming months. Just ordered a new computer which should help with the video editing.

you're putting my wood glue process to shame! 😂

I have used that method in extreme cases! Definitely a good option, but takes quite a while!

I find that with any records that will have been played by djs, no matter how clean you get them, the inner grooves are often distorted so badly due to probably being played with a completely misaligned stylus at a very heavy weight. Some of my records are almost un-listenable towards the end because of this. It's like it goes from "hifi" sound at the start to listening to it underwater by the end!

Yes I’ve noticed that too, though I’m thinking a lot of these may only have been played a few times, some possibly never played. The visual condition so far has been VG+/NM (though haven’t listened to any yet). I’m not as optimistic about the other set in the cardboard box.

@@JurassicTrance it's quite a lottery buying them used isn't it!

@@pompeyjim yep, I try to always at least get partial refunds when the grade is not accurate.

@@JurassicTrance That's a good idea. To be fair to sellers, often times they look "visually" ok but the grooves are damaged. I doubt many of them listen to them. But at the same time that's not the buyers problem.

120 random white labels is pretty interesting. I'm curious what all is in there. You'll have to check by the runout info I guess. Otherwise you may have to post a bunch of ID requests. I'm sure someone will know if the info isn't on Discogs.

Yep will be fun to give them all a listen. One of them I noticed right away the runout etching said TEX 2 Disc 2 Side C or something, I’m pretty positive that must be a Trance Europe Express 2 promo/test pressing of sorts. There were a few without runout etchings (I think - didn’t look too closely). Hoping at least one unreleased maybe 😅 but unlikely.

They auctioned off a whole bunch of whitelabel lots like this, the prices fetched were insane! I got two of the final lots for much more reasonable prices (other buyers must have been tapped out), but I would love to have seen what was in the complete set. There must have been close to 1,000 white labels if not more!

@@JurassicTrance I would bet that most of them were early production run test pressing tracks. Some will probably be acetate replacements on their way to a full production run. Some will just be small production run tracks that never got a full release with artwork and all. Some will be bootlegs or mashups. Typical white label type stuff. I think you were probably smart not to bid too much. While I'm sure there will be a few gems most will probably be small production run normal tracks. Keep an eye out for Aural Imbalance - Aural Navigation Part 2. It was only released on Nick Waren's GU multi vinyl release. It is rare and fairly expensive. To my knowledge there is no standalone release. But there must be because he played the song live. So maybe it was a white label or digital file. I have the GU release. It sells for $50-250 because of that one song. If you can find a standalone copy of that track it would be worth well over $100.

@@djluminol sounds about right, I made sure to get most of the acetates from the collection, and even managed to track down some more not included in the auction. Some fantastic tracks!
