A lot of the comments under this videos are mind numbing and disappointing to see which is why I never engage however with a general election date now in place I feel more inclined to do so. It’s refreshing to see so many people acknowledging that Starmer and sunak probably shouldn’t be leading this country, but then I do wonder who is and who are their suitable replacements to make this whole campaign more interesting ?

Man's lying through his teeth. If he was concerned about the status of the working person, he'd install a 90% tax on unearned income, and incomes including bonuses of the top one percent of earners, declare a ban on new purchases of domestic property for commercial purposes for 20 years to let the housing market normalise, and cut VAT on fuel, food and drink, while capping energy and utility prices at the lowest possible point, instructing shareholders and investors to just accept less in their pockets. He doesn't give a damn about the economy or the people who actually make it work. He's about shovelling dodgy deals to his rich pals.

All jokes aside I understand people are fed up of Sunak but I do believe the current alternative is worse and that labour needs a much more appealing party leader to be successful especially when considering long term plans. I’m convinced labour will win but the more I reflect on it, are the British people going to take a punt on the future of our country to vote for a equally weak opposition purely out of frustration. I hope not, however I am interested if people think otherwise as to if keir Starmer should be the next PM and why he would make a good fit ?
