My latest Newfoundland I got as a rescue at 8 months old. She's nearly two years old now and just as chewy as Bungle! She loves to destroy boxes and paper and books and binders and all kinds of things she shouldn't! In her opinion everything belongs to her. Yesterday I caught her standing on the kitchen table to see if she could reach anything on the shelves nearby! I have owned and trained Newfoundlands for more than 40 years and she by far is the naughtiest!! And the most unrepentant... I hope Bungle is more civilized, he sure is adorable!
life is beautiful but time passes too quickly, enjoy Bungle, I wish you long life with your masters to whom I am sure you will bring only happiness... Kiss from France.
My sort of extra grandmother had two newfies living with her, and I remember holding them both by their leashes when I was little, I actually think I must have been about five. There were grownups also, but I can't remember them holding the leashes. The thing is, I think those darling newfies thought they were walking me, while I thought I was walking them.
Enormous responsibility, enormous work, enormous dedication, forget the money. People need to get educated, these dogs are not for everybody, they need large spaces, water to swim in, only someone with all these, can live with them, congrats, no too many can do what, you do Make a movie when they grow up, they're true oceanic dogs
I know your pain all too well. We had a 14.5 year old poodle who died in 2014 and a basenji/Siberian husky mix who died early February this year. We now have a Newfoundland puppy.
Gorgeous Dogs and the pride of my Nation. I had a Newfoundland , from a breeder back home. Enjoy your pup, before you know it ten years will have passed . 😘 🇬🇧🇨🇦. !!!
Doing my homework on Newfie to add to my pack and I’m almost mins made up, ideally rescue but I’d pray not too many in rescue? Beauty is bungle, cool music too 😂
My Landseer is 185lbs. When Nanook was a puppy he had beautiful blue eyes that turned grey as he got older. Newfies are the best dogs! Full of love, snuggles and drool…
Wonderful record of Bungle’s first year. We’ve had 3 Saint Bernards over 20 years. All rescues. Our rescue person has always had at least one Newfie along with the saints In rescue. Wonderful companions! Ours never watched TV unless it was Beethoven, Snowdogs, or something with lots of dogs!
It's heart breaking when they go. I am already feeling anxious about when Bungle crosses the rainbow bridge even though he's only just hit 2. Trying to take the attitude that every day with him is a bonus and to enjoy him as much as I can. He has become such a joy in my life.
Mine wasn’t fond of swimming either. Or anyone else for that matter. Made it impossible to go for a swim in the lake because she’d be trying to haul me out of the water all the time.
I love the recursion at the end with Bungle watching himself! Very clever... I assume 2 year old Bungle will get to watch 1 year old Bungle watching 10 week old Bungle! Nice video 🐾🐾❣️
What an absolute charmer! (The only time I would have distanced myself from Bungle is when he had been bathing. Lots of water to shake off.) Nice to see he found an appropriately sized stick.
And I'm back. Good films are worth seeing over and over. I still find myself smiling watching this. As far as friends and companions go, there is nothing to beat dogs.
We tried to take our Newfie puppy swimming and she freaked out when her feet no longer touched the sand on the bottom. I wonder if a life jacket could help her confidence in the water...
Bungle is adorable! I'm in Merseyside and I have a 9 month old Landseer Newfie named Ichinojo. He's already over 100 lbs. His favourite toy is his rugby ball and he loves chewing on it and pushing it all over the house with his nose, even up the stairs. Do you ever take Bungle to the sea? I took Ichinojo to Scotland a few months ago and he loved swimming in the Firth of Clyde.
Amazing record Ian, you really have captured Bungle growing from a puppy to his first birthday and I am genuinely impressed with your filming and editing skills! He is two now so I am anxiously awaiting the second year highlight video! ;) Bungle's brother is doing very well and we hope to drop by soon so they can see each other again - will definitely have to film that for the third year highlight video :)
Thanks but to be honest I think most video is just a repeat and of course his appearance hasn't changed very much in the second year. I have posted a few snippets over the last couple of weeks around his second birthday, but it;s hard to find something genuinely new. Video was just shot on an iPhone 13 but editing and the addition of music can cover up a lot of quite dodgy footage ;-)
❤ me and my husband and two children had one in 1994 best dog we ever ever had. I wish we could get another one but you know what age does to you but I watch everyone of these programs. God bless you guys in Jesus name, your friend, Kathy.
I owned one in the early 1980s when I was in my yearly 20s. As you say, best dog I ever had although I am hearing about a lot more problems with some dogs these days because of unhealthy breeders (greeders) and bad traits coming through). I had to wait until I retired to own one again as work meant living in London which is no place for a big dog. I got Bungle when I was 64 (am now 66) having retired and then had to wait a year because of cancer treatment. He keeps me young and has been instrumental in ensuring my recovery from cancer treatment was a speedy one. I did worry that I might be too old, but honestly it's the best thing I've done. There isn't a day that goes by where he doesn't make me smile and revel in his company.
I didn’t get your name but I sure would love for you to continue sending me the videos of you and your babies. They are so precious. My name is Kathy and I will always watch them. Thank you so much. God bless you in Jesus name amen
I got three Coton de Tulears that Bungle would provide many hours of crash and bounce! The bigger and furrier, the better. All he has to do is lay down so they can trample all over him and pretend he is a giant pillow that drools. Not far off…🐾🐾👅
He does drool - especially when treats are around or you're eating something he'd like himself, but nowhere near as bad as some I've seen and most of the time it's quite thin and watery thank goodness.
@@robs8882 As a kid my parents had one that was continually spouting thick drool that was like thick water paste. The poor dog loved humans but everyone would back away when she approached because she'd leave the most disgusting stains on your clothes. Fortunately Bungle has very little drool most times. I'm only really aware of it if I'm sat eating and he sits opposite me "begging" for part of it and the drool slowly starts in anticipation.
Thank you for making this video. We have had 3 Newfies over the past 26 years with our last one going over the Rainbow Bridge in May of 2023. Wer einen Neufi hat oder hatte weiß, es liegt ein Zauber in diesen wunderschönen Tieren....

He's a handsome fellow, thank you!
They look like big bears! I new one in my neighborhood when I lived in Baltimore and he was a gentle giant.
Happy Holidays, Bungle and family, from the United States.
I have three who range from 6-13 years. They are the most magnificent breed. Kind, loyal, loving and incredibly bull headed😂

I love Newfeys ❤️ ❤ mine is 10 plus 6months suffering back leg problems but still happy 😢 sad to see his decline . ❤
Can we just talk about the music selection?? Immaculate ❤

Happy Birthday, Bungle!🎉❤
Beautiful big boy.
Mine was named Scannon. She was the best dog ever. It’s so sad that they don’t live twice as long.
Beautiful used to have a big brown male called Orson ( means bear cub ) great dog's newfie's 😀
Thank you, great movie❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Adorable Newfie!! I have a black Newfie named Trout and while he knows how to swim, he only swims if he falls off a dock and has no choice. 😂😂
Mine was the same way
Mine wasn’t fond of swimming either. Or anyone else for that matter. Made it impossible to go for a swim in the lake because she’d be trying to haul me out of the water all the time.
Nowofunlandy to bardzo mądra i kochana rasa psów. Moja Rita była bardzo inteligentna i bardo szybko się uczyła, zmarła mając 13 lat.
Sorry for your loss.❤❤
Newfies are the BEST !! ❤️🙌🏻

Bungle, the black local sunshine.
This was so lovely and happy to watch, exactly what was needed in these gloomy days. Wish you so many adventures with Bungle.
Какой же он классный! Мечтаю о такой собаке.
He’s beautiful!
Loved your video on Bungle, great job and music was fantastic ❣🐾🐾
Un Cane stupendo
My cousin had two Newfoundland's and a swimming pool. Both had to be kept in the house unless you wanted to be repeatedly rescued from the pool.
Dogs are so wonderful!!
Beautiful❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
This made my day! I love my huge mischievous angel bear Bubbles Soooo much!
Thx for sharing:) Merry Christmas from the US🎄
Я из России. Мой ньюфаундленд, Джонни Депп, родился в 2022 году. Все ньюфы похожи друг на друга. Спасибо за ваше видео.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Много добри мечета
Newfees are such a cool dog!
He's soooo fluffy!!!!!!
Can't wait to see wot he looks like now. Hope you're is a follow up to this.
❤❤❤❤
lovely newfi Ian, our dog marley is due to give birth any day now.

Better than any antidepressant~~

nice
Great dawgs!
We are on our fourth Newfie. If it's not a Newfie, it's just a dog.
I Terranova sono creature meravigliose!!!
My family is looking to adop a new found land dog, where did you get yours? Your dog is very happy
Beautiful dog! Did he have a surgery? Noticed he had a leg shaved and maybe his abdomen. Hopefully everything is ok!
I guess, here in NH, we don't have fences
I’ve been trying to find a breeder in Ireland , I want to be assured that the breeder is known by Irish Kennel Club. Anyone help me to find a breeder
Where is the drool?
He is amazingly tight-jowled. It is quite amazing!
He does drool - especially when treats are around or you're eating something he'd like himself, but nowhere near as bad as some I've seen and most of the time it's quite thin and watery thank goodness.

Are Newfies easy to find in europe? I had one here in the u.s. but they are hard to find (adopt/purchase)

Looks like England?
Yes. County Durham in England
Can these big boys stand heat and humidity? I reckon not.
They struggle but cope fine. Having a fan on very hot days helps.
Bungle Needs Some LARGER TOYS TO PLAY WITH " AND BIG BONES TO CHEW.
He can easily get over the wall. Never leave him alone or he’ll definitely get stolen. He’s a gorgeous dog, but now you’ve drawn attention to him, his security is compromised.
Great video. Could do without the music. Maybe something instrumental? It distracts from the puppy.
Has he been in the house? Timeline jumps & I don’t want to watch again.
No idea why the timeline jumped for you. Yes he is often in the house but much prefers being outdoors.
Very cute pup. Crap music. Lose the music
