Three stockings! Exciting! 🍼 The stove and surroundings looks great. You may want to place a cast iron trivet under your water pan. And they sell magnet thermostats for wood stoves. I love having the thermostat on our stove. You can get one for about $15. Stay cozy!

I love wood stoves so much!! I’ll definitely have one in my own home one of these days. My Grandparents had a MASSIVE wood stove and it was literally my favorite thing about being at their house. It just gives the coziest vibes and I LOVE the smell sooo much!! They’re just something so comforting and nostalgic about the smell of the wood burning and it always makes me think of my grandparents. ❤❤

Love the wood stove! We have a fireplace insert in our cabin, and when some friends came to visit, she had to take a picture of our indoor/outdoor thermometer…78 in, -30 outside! I love it toasty! Glad to see the po 11:47 t of water too, as it tends to get too dry in the house, and then it feels cold. Not sure if there is a Menards by you, but I’m sure Home Depot or Lowes would have this product to clean the inside

That wood burning stove and the whole area is just so nicely done and it's gonna keep your house so warm and toasty this winter. We had one in a house that we lived in for a short time and had to get someone out to show us how to properly use it. He said that it had never been used and it was a very good brand. We also bought a solid cast iron kettle to keep on top of the stove to put water in for adding humidity to the room. Much needed and it looks nice.

LOOKS GREAT! Love a wood stove. We can't use one because of allergies. I stay stopped up and sick the whole time its going. :(
Very cute! I'm concerned about two things though: using thin plywood as a base for your stone - it should have been cement board or other water-resistant board; and using shiplap directly behind the stove being a safety hazard - but maybe your stove is rated to be able to sit in front of shiplap?
I was just wondering, is the shiplap made of fireproof material? I don't think you mentioned it.
