He definitely deserved a golden buzzer and deserved to win the season. Such a shame his talent was not discovered earlier in life, he could have gone very far in broadway.

That's how you make your grandkids proud, as if they weren't before! Astounding voice. At his age, a lot of professional singers have lost their voices. This guy still has his - and it's amazing.

My first time hearing this, and this was a fabulous vocal. And it sounds so incredibly professional, as if this guy has been a star for 40 years.
It really saddens me that he didn't have a career in music from younger age. It's the best voice I've heard in awhile. Hope it works out for him now! I'd have hit the golden buzzer.

When I heard this man sing, I couldn't believe my ears. He's 68 years old and has a better voice than performers half his age. Well done, Matthew Dodd, you make me proud to be Irish!!!

I understand what you probably mean but auto tune is meant to be used like kinda like a ruler hopefully the metaphor is clear.

Vocals are often autotuned to fake perfection. I realize the full meaning of the word.
@@lizzievick it is used often, much too often by some artists but it’s commonly used to correct small errors in a song, it’s just easier to correct it via auto tune rather than re-recording.
