I'm obsessed with all of these!!! Most DIYs they try to make seem so easy but it ends up being soooo much work! You really make everything look so doable. And I love how you styled the green side of the belt. It looks gorgeous
Lexikailani what an awesome comment!! Thank you so much! I was afraid to make this my first episode because it's slightly more complicated but it's still SO DOABLE! I'm glad you watched, thanks !
You were spot on, choosing the fabric you did - the last thing you want to deal with is boning! Those days are over for me, no more patience! Loved the double sided as well... hmmm might update a vintage 70’s suede one with something fun! Loving your channel! 😘🦇⚡️Jet
In every video , whenever she explains things about the diy or general stuff at start of the videos , she exactly speaks out our mind .. she is solving our problems , recognising them .. I found her channel last night and I must say this happens only in her channel on whole RUclips .. thanks a ton ..👍🏻 keep growing .. love from India 🇮🇳 country of diy’s
I am so late to the party but I love corset type clothing and you just popped up in my recommended. This is STUNNING and you totally nailed it. I especially appreciate the fact that it can be reversed to increase wearability. I am literally grabbing my scissors after I finish writing. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love watching Amber Scholl. I randomly cane across your channel and I’m SUBBING. I honestly love your creativity already 😍😍 Beautiful, you didn’t even need to sew the hem. Very nice ❤️❤️
Am soo much obsessed with yo channel n end up revising all yo previous vedios...am a design student too🙈n yo channel is givin me soo much inspos ..thankyoi Orly💃😍🌺
This is incredible! I have decided to do a cosplay overnight (Terrible idea, i know) and the other pattern stuff was wayy to complicated for me - I really apreciate you explaining this in "commoner" language!
Obsessed! I want to make this to wear for my birthday!! I watched your video on adding silk scarves to lace up shoes and now I can’t stop watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your creative mind!!

Is that corset belt really as comfortable on you as it looks to be ? Really ?? And so freaking easy to make !! I've watched so many corset making videos and I was like " I can never make it like that ". And then BOOM. Your video hits in and it's everything !!
I love how creative you are ! You show us that we dont have to buy expensive things to look gorgeous...u've got a new subscriber😜😜you deserve it dear😇😇Kisses
You did a great job with the video and make it so easy, anyone could make this. The Croc-a-dile company should give you free merchandise! Thanks for sharing, pretty lady!
Orly absolutely love this diy ...I live in a small town but I’m gonna track down some leather and do this as it will look stunning in the winter with dresses ....hugs from Ireland xPx
Nice job, it looks very neat. Just some thoughts here. When you glue up the 2nd layer/contrast material, i think it would be advisable to actually sew them together, to keep the fabrics from working apart at the glue surfaces from bending. When you pull tight the lacing, and take the garment off later, do you completely unlace the front ? Reason i am asking is that the tassels on the ends of the black lacing will not pass through the grommets, so they have to be removable. To sew in boning channels is not really that hard, and in the USA and elsewhere you are spoiled for choice. Here in South Africa we do not get steel boning, straight or spiral, or the busking to make decent corsets. That is unless you pay through your ears to bring the stuff into the country. That being said, there are ways to cheat on getting stiff boning, use wide/thick zip-ties, they work like magic. For the closures there are always zippers, strips of bra-hook-and-eye closures, belt buckles and more.
Orly! Can you please do a shopping the LA garment district guide? I'm easy coast so I always go to NY but I would love to be prepared when I get a chance to visit Los Angeles
I love your channel. I discovered it last night and I have watched a lot of your videos. So far this is the coolest diy channel I have ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us
Yes thank you soooo much. I wanted s belt like this . I have an idea for mine, I would like a faux suede on one side and the faux croci on the other in another color. I’ll have to see what joAnn fabric has to offer. Also I’m happy to see your doing home fashion as well I’m delighted. Can I please give a suggestion on home? Please do something with Audrey Hepburn in mind. I want to do a bedroom of mind in like breakfast at Tiffany theme,. Pillows, wall decor, everything but I have no idea what to do or how to take the lead in what I want to do. Then I can use all turquoise , a little white sand black Thank you again. Your a true friend in my head.
In order for the belt to maintain its shape and not bend or fold when you sit down you need boning of plastic or metal. Some people use zip ties and cut them to put in between the two layers and sew into the inner layer with a middle layer or fabric or sew outer and inner layers together.
could you do a hem on it? I can't imagine that edge looks amazing up close. how do you add that to such a thick material without destroying your machine
Kristina Ruiz shoot I don’t remember exactly. But if you park on maple and 9th area and walk around you should find a few options. It was a corner store on the east corner.
When I watch diy I don't do them but I think I am going to do this one.

Ahh the idea of reversing the corset is great! If I find the right fabric I'll do a black one with a shiny side like yours and a matte side.
That plane just would not let you be great! Came across your channel...love it!
The green one looks BOMB!! I think I would sew the perimeter for a better finish.
Yes you totally could! I was afraid it would leave an indent on the edge and then draw more attention to the edges but you could totally do it!
You did great not sewing it, I think with that fabric it would have been a disaster.
You are awesome!! I love all your DIY. I will make this
I love how creative you are ! You show us that we dont have to buy expensive things to look gorgeous...u've got a new subscriber😜😜you deserve it dear😇😇Kisses
