I’m trying not to bawl like a baby watching this trailer because I’m where Ms Kay was, fighting for my marriage. I’ve been fighting for over 8 years and fighting in the spirit for my husband to come back to God. It will all be worth it when God comes through and they are an inspiration to me

@@jacobsnewadventures I'm praying for you. My situation isn't quite the same, and I've only been waiting 3 years. But God will get us both through this. Even if nobody but us believes it, even if we fail to believe it ourselves for a while. He will never break his promises.
I read Phil's book, several years ago and hoped someone would see the potential and 😢would make it a movie. Kay's faith is what kept the family intact through the hard times, and she deserves a lot of the credit for what the family is today.

Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way. We deserve Hell because we've sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him.

@@christianweatherbroadcasting Yeah or he could have got some treatment for his alcoholism? Repenting won't do nearly as much against an addiction like alcoholism as a AA program & a good support group would have, at least to keep him off the booze till he had a chance to see what it was doing to him & his family.
@@davidlittle7418 people dont usually end up in AA or have good support groups until its too late and they see what it was doing to them and their family. and a church literally is a support group
@@itz_otto Well yes it certainly can be, but fervent religious belief can also be just a replacement for the addiction to substances & is perhaps not addressing the mental health issues that led to addiction in the first place. I was alluding to
that in a round about way. Strengthening the inner mental strength through therapy & change is perhaps a better way than just attributing your success to Jesus.
We went to see The Blind last night. It was INCREDIBLE! The movie was beautifully written. The cinematography made me feel as though I was in the Louisiana swamp - BEAUTIFUL! There was never a dull moment. Thank you Phil and Kay for allowing your story to be shown. Thank you Jesus for showing us another way!

This story is very similar to my parent's story. After my dad lost his family due to partying, drinking and staying gone all the time. I was 4 when my dad finally got it together and started going to church and taking us with him. My parents reconciled and started going to church together and life was pretty good from then on. Thank you Lord for saving my family
Oh man, I can’t wait to see this. I tear up every time I see Phil on his knees and he slams his hand on the ground. I’ve been there my friend. Sometimes the Lord has to get us to a place that we’ll yield and submit to Him. Even in our lowest times, He is faithful.
Sometimes he has to break us to remake us. I know that’s true he had to break me through loneliness to get me to come to him

I CAN NOT wait to see this movie!! The Robertsons are such a great family and their story is so inspirational.
I’m not typically someone that enjoys going to watch movies like these, but over the years of hearing bits and pieces of their story I wanted to find out further. I was shocked. I never imagined a movie like this could impact my life that much. I truly thank God for whomever all worked on this film did their best because it showed and I would reccomend to literally everyone!!! I would never turn down watching this movie again either- it’s that good.
My first experience with duck commander was when I was 3; my dad first took me to the duck blind. I was too young to shoot so I was the "designated caller."
We got all the calls I wanted, I watched all VHS tapes of "The Duckmen of Louisiana," and I had the casettes to play as we drove to the salten sea so I could learn more about the art of calling. Far before Duck Dynasty, I had a strong connection to Phil and the family. And I'm glad Kay and his story is getting told with respect and production value. And one day, I'll be teaching my daughter how to call just as I did, with the same calls the robertsons always made by hand.

Same. Whenever my dad would watch me and my brothers when my mom worked night shift, duck commander and bull riding was what we watched.
I am looking so forward to seeing the movie. Have always loved this family. Yes Miss Kay deserves so much recognition for all she did to fight for her family. A strong woman

I just watched this movie last night and being a huge fan of the roberston family and the show and after learning about Phil’s story of how he found god was so amazing I love this movie and Phil’s testimony and every actor who played as the family did amazing this film will always imma show to my family
I look forward to supporting a Christian movie. The Robertsons family is one my favorites, they love the Lord and their podcast helps me to learn and grow in my faith.

I may not be the religious type but i am excited for this movie because like it or not the Robertson's have had a profound impact on me and taught me values i couldn't find in my own life.
Religion is manmade. Never follow religion - follow the Bible & you can’t go wrong. Jesus is in the Bible, not in religion. That’s why the Robertons have those values. 🙂

Saw the movie finally and it's was sad but happy at the end. Beautiful movie I love this family. Phil is my favorite. He was lost but God had mercy on him. He had trauma from his childhood but miss Kay never gave up. She was his rock. I love this movie. ❤❤❤❤

Brought my husband tonight to see it. We are struggling in our marriage with his alcohol and sexual addictions. He blames me for it all. We are believers. It is so hard for me to keep this marriage going. I pray we can tell Phil and Kay that they were a tool God had used to make us one again.
Jesus restored my marriage too. No matter what hold tight to Jesus and He will be faithful to work it all out so perfectly.
I blamed my wife too , an she did not know how to deal with our problems, all I can say is pray , study gods word , an pray , don’t be to harsh on your husband he’s lost too .

Never watched Duck Commander, Duck Dynasty, but knew of the Robertson family. I watched an interview with Phil on Glenn Beck a couple of weeks ago and have been obsessed with catching up on this family, currently watching Unashamed. I can't wait to see this movie.

I was looking for a movie to watch, and as always, I read the audience's comments. It was a toss-up between a few others, but once I read the spiteful comments from the anti-Jesus 'faithful', I knew this was the one I would watch, and what a great choice it was! I didn't know what it was about, but what an amazing story! Strongly recommended for Christians, and an even stronger recommendation to the non-Christians. Whether you believe it or not, you're going to meet Him.... Amen!

I just saw this. I ugly cried when I got in the car. What a powerful story! God is good. He makes all things new. He can make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
This story touched me so much because it conveys the need for baptism and the need for us to accept Jesus. He is always knocking but we have to let him in.
I was dating a guy who was going to church, watching The Chosen and listening to Christian music. He was about to get baptized. Then, the harlet appeared. The enemy temps those who are close to changing their lives.
So happy for Phil and his family. God is a miracle worker.

Has anyone seen this film yet? It's the true story of Phil Robertson from the TV show Duck Dynasty. How alcohol nearly destroyed his family, as it has done two billions, but how forsaking this poison and turning to his Creator saved them all.
Wow I already know that this is going to be an amazing movie. I imagine they have been through high water and hell to get were they are today and they deserve every bit of it. The "Dynasty" is a very blessed family.

This is a very interesting, passionate family and i respect them to the utmost. They keep it real and they are not afraid to show there faith in God/jesus. Wish i had a family like this.
I knew the Robertsons had it rough before Duck Commander became what it is today, but this is heavy.
Women of God never give up on our families. We trust God will protect and heal our hearts.
